XY OU Need a little help with my OU team

Hello. I’m fairly new to battle simulators, so I’d appreciate it if anyone could help me improve my team. This is the team I managed to create after a while, and I’ve mostly stuck to it.

Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf

Ability: Levitate

Shiny: Yes

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Timid Nature

- Volt Switch

- Hydro Pump

- Will-O-Wisp

- Trick

My choice scarf lead, and special attacker, with Max EVs into Speed and SpA. Volt switch is great for momentum and hits hard when you fully invest in SpA. Hydro Pump is my strongest stab move, though it’s a pain when it misses. Will-O-Wisp and trick are there to cripple things. Even without a choice scarf, Rotom-Wash can still do a lot of work. I wanted to fit in pain split (recovery) or thunderbolt (more power) somewhere, but these four moves work for me.

Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers

Ability: Iron Barbs

Shiny: Yes

EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpD

Relaxed Nature

IVs: 0 Spe

- Leech Seed

- Protect

- Gyro Ball

- Stealth Rock

My physical wall. Ferrothorn can take a hit both physically and specially (mainly physically). Leech Seed+Leftovers+Protect is an absolute pain. Gyro Ball hits fairly hard (I run it over power whip because otherwise I can’t do anything over grass types). Ferrothorn is also my stealth rock setter. Speed IVs are for Gyro Ball.

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge

Ability: Liquid Ooze

EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe

Calm Nature

- Rapid Spin

- Toxic Spikes

- Knock Off

- Scald

Tentacruel is my special tank, and works great with Ferrothorn (leech seed helps a lot). Their types compliment each other defensively. He is also my rapid spinner, which I need for Charizard-X. Toxic spikes are a big help, knock off is annoying though it doesn’t do much damage, and scald is my stab move, with a great chance of burn. Liquid Ooze and Black Sludge are there to discourage drainers and trickers.

Mamoswine @ Life Orb

Ability: Thick Fat

EVs: 244 Atk / 12 SpA / 252 Spe

Naive Nature

IVs: 29 HP

- Earthquake

- Ice Shard

- Icicle Crash

- Freeze-Dry

Revenge killer/physical attacker, and also provides me necessary ice/ground coverage that I don’t have with other Pokémon. Earthquake hits strong, Ice shard is priority move and is therefore amazing, Icicle Crash as an alternate ice-stab, and Freeze-Dry for pesky water types (especially Gyarados, as it has a 4x weakness to this). The health IVs are for life orb recoil, and the extra SpA EVs are for Freeze-Dry. Life orb is great, though recoil damage is very pesky.

Clefable @ Leftovers

Ability: Unaware

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA

Bold Nature

- Calm Mind

- Moonblast

- Moonlight

- Shadow Ball

My answer to baton passers, and can also sweep. Calm Mind gives it special bulk and SpA. Moonblast and Shadow Ball have good coverage, and Moonlight for recovery. Full EVs into health and defense +calm mind and Clefairy can take on hits from both the physical and special side. A very good tank.

Charizard-Mega-X (F) @ Charizardite X

Ability: Tough Claws

Shiny: Yes

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

Adamant Nature

- Dragon Dance

- Dragon Claw

- Flare Blitz

- Roost

My physical sweeper. Dragon Dance turns him into an absolute beast. I prefer Dragon Claw over Outrage because the chance of fairies switching into Outrage is too high. Flare Blitz just kills , and the recoil is manageable IMO. Roost is there for extra heals if the chance arises. Usually I save him for late game.

So that's it. If you're still reading, thanks a lot :D. I'd really appreciate any help.

Since your Clefable is mainly a set-up sweeper I suggest Flamethrower over Shadow Ball so it isn't hard walled and countered by Ferrothorn. I suggest an EV spread of 248 HP / 112 Def / 148 Spe, Timid, so you can tank hits from the likes of Kyurem-B and Volcarona, outspeed and hit back to cripple them. You could run this in conjunction with Toxic over Toxic Spikes to assure that they are crippled. Scald is also useful to burn Kyurem-B.

Thanks a lot Antemortem! I'll test out flamethrower on Clefable and your EV spread, and Toxic on Tentacruel.
