I joined a tourney where its monotype only and your forced to make a team with two pokemons given to you at the start. I got Mega Gengar and Salazzle I dont know who else to put in my team any suggestions (Also im pretty sure all legendarys, iron moth, toxicroak, garbordor and G Weezing are banned)

Hi, welcome to monotype.
Unfortunately mega gengar is banned in all monotype tiers so we cant really tell you much about it. However, Poison would typically rely on having a psychic immune (i.e. a Dark type) and a ground immune (like Crobat). As its offensive, seeking offensiver team mates like lead glimmora or nihilego or nidoking can be options.
