Need Help making my Elemental Team as good as can be.

Hey guys, welcome to my thread.

In case the term, "Elemental Team" confuses you, this is what it is:

A team that must have at least one ground / rock/ground, one Fire, one Water, and one Flying / Normal/Flying.

This is a team I am using for a league that I am in, so don't be afraid to give harsh feedback, as I need to make this as good as can be.

Anyways, here it is:

Ninetales (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hypnosis

When I first started making my elemental team, I decided that it would probably be best to use sun as weather, since it Fire and Ground Pokemon cannot exactly function in rain.

With Energy Ball, it can take out other weather starters such as Politoed and Hippowdon, and has Will-O-Wisp and Rest to use when a opponent is switching out to a more fearful Pokemon that can take out Ninetales.

Staraptor (F) @ Choice Band
Trait: Reckless
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Double-Edge
- U-turn

Staraptor is my lead when I see the opponent using weather, Brave Bird can OHKO Politoed, Close Combat Tyranitar, and U-Turn just for hit and run, and can also take care of those Psychic types.

Venusaur (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Growth
- Giga Drain
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sleep Powder

As with every Sun team, you need a Pokemon who can abuse it, right?
Well that's the reason why I put Venusaur on my team. It can take care of bulky water types, and Ferrothorn with ease.

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic

Donphan, I am not sure I should keep on the team, I mean it helps with Rapid Spin and Stealth Rock, but that's about it.

Milotic (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Marvel Scale
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Hypnosis
- Ice Beam
- Recover
- Dragon Tail

Milotic takes down set up sweepers such as Dragonite or Salamence with ease, with Ice Beam and Dragon Tail, not much will be safe when setting up against Milotic, especially those with a Flying or Dragon type.

Volcarona (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Flame Body
EVs: 240 HP / 216 Def / 52 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Quiver Dance
- Fiery Dance
- Bug Buzz
- Roost

Nothing says Sun like Volcarona.

Once it sets up, it can pretty much take down everything with ease, even Heatran which resists both of it's moves. Once it is done with setup, unless you get a rock physical move on it, not much will be stopping a sweep from it. :P

So that's my team, if there is anything that you would change, please let me know. :D

Due to Sleep Clause, two sleep moves is kind of a wasted moveslot. I'd either put Sludge Bomb > Sleep Powder on Venusaur or Light Screen > Hypnosis on Milotic.

Holy SR weakness! I know you have Donphan, but from my experience, its weakness to three of the most common attacking types means it's going to have a hard time spinning in any weather. Staraptor seems the most expendable IMO. In its place, you could use a Scarfer that isn't weak to SR to help you revenge-kill threats outside sun. Latios and Landorus come to mind.

Well, I could always use Latios or Landorus, but then it wouldn't follow the elemental theme.

Maybe I should get rid of Volcarona and Donphan.

This team looks awesome, but unfortenally, any almost every pokemon in this team has a weakness to Ice and Water type moves. You should work on that maybe?
PS: You may want to use Flash Fire over Flame Body in your Volcarona

Landorus is part flying type. Does that count?
Oh, and Pedrobrony, Volcarona unfortunately doesn't get Flash fire, so flame body is the best it can do.
