Hello. This is my first post and first RMT here. I thought up this team while I was at Walgreen's getting milk. It uses some of my favorites and stuff. And I need some help with it, so any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Deoxys-S @ Life Orb
Modest - 252 Sp. Attack / 252 HP
+Pressure+
~Thunderbolt
~Ice Beam
~Superpower / Taunt
~Psychic
My anti-lead and sweeper. He really doesn't need speed, so HP really appreciates the investment, especially since he has low HP and his defenses are pretty ok. But if I need some speed that's welcome too. Classic Boltbeam with Taunt in the mix for lead Bronzongs and such, but I might want Superpower for stuff like Tyranitar. Psychic for STAB.
Gardevoir @ Leftovers / Light Clay
Modest - 252 HP / 32 Defense / 56 Sp. Attack / 60 Sp. Defense / 108 Speed
+Trace+
~Will-o-Wisp
~Wish
~Psychic
~Light Screen
This is my favorite Pokemon. Trace is just wonderful. It screws over Heatran if it is choiced. And it can take special hits pretty well anyways, so it is still a safe Heatran switch-in. Will-o-Wisp hurts those physical attackers that switch in, then Light Screen reduces the damage from special attacks. Psychic for STAB. Light Screen over Thunderbolt since Gardevoir isn't too reliable for Gyara; I have another Tracebolter on my team.
Electivire @ Life Orb
Lonely - 252 Speed / 76 Attack / 179 Sp. Attack
+Motor Drive+
~Thunderbolt
~Flamethrower
~Hidden Power [Ice]
~Cross Chop
Ah, the classic GyaraVire combo. I really don't like the standard EVire, so I'm using this one instead. Flamethrower takes Bronzong and Forretress by surprise, while Hidden Power [Ice] can take things like Donphan and Dragonite for surprise. Cross Chop is for Blissey, who really can't do much to me anyways.
Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Bold - 252 HP, 160 Def, 92 SpAtk, 4 Speed
+Trace+
~Thunderbolt / Discharge
~Ice Beam
~Recover
~Thunder Wave / Toxic
More Trace! It still screws over things with abilities like Water Absorb and Flash Fire. This one can also counter DDMence and Gyarados. Recover is a given, auto-recovery is something wanted by a lot of Pokemon (halo thar Swampert and Forretress). The last slot is a status. Other walls really hate Toxic, but Thunder Wave can mess up sweepers. Or maybe I could go with Discharge over T-bolt and Toxic over T-Wave.
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Adamant - 216 HP / 16 Atk / 176 Def / 100 Spe
+Intimidate+
~Dragon Dance
~Taunt / Ice Fang
~Waterfall
~Earthquake
This really helps me against the Heracross that murders my team otherwise. I want STAB, and Earthquake, so I hope that it doesn't hurt my coverage too badly, but if Taunt isn't too important I could replace it with Ice Fang, so I don't get walled by Grasses.
Forretress @ Leftovers / Light Clay / Shed Shell
Relaxed - 252 Defense / 252 HP
+Sturdy+
~Rapid Spin
~Stealth Rock
~Reflect
~Gyro Ball
This thing and Gardevoir like each other. For one, Gardy takes care of the Heatran Forretress is afraid of. They can take hits for each other, as their defenses are on opposite sides of the spectrum. Reflect and Light Screen also compliment each other well. Gyro Ball helps with offense and screws over the Weavile that this thing counters so well, but I feel that he could be doing something...better with that slot. Toxic, maybe?
Well, there's the team. By the way, do you really think that Leftovers help that much? If there's not much else that a Pokemon can use in the slot, then fine, but 6% each turn? Seems kinda iffy to me, like you could be using something better.
EDIT: Eh, I got bored, here's the threat list. Hopefully, by the time I'm done with this monster, I might have some posts.
Tyranitar: Deoxys-S can take care of Tyranitar pretty easily, especially since the tyrant is usually a lead. If Deoxys is down before Tyranitar appears, I'm sure Electivire or Gyarados can handle him as well.
Gyarados: My Porygon2 can take on Gyarados easy. After he switches in, whether Gyara will DD or not, that Intimidate will hurt it. Then there's the T-bolt threat.
Infernape: Deoxys-S can use Psychic on it. I don't know how well Gardevoir will fare, but its Psychic is still nothing to scoff at. Its Flamethrower and Grass Knot wouldn't do TOO much, and Close Combat is not very effective.
Azelf: Hmm...I might have some Azelf problems, since I don't know how well Proygon2 would do.
Electivire: Gardevoir can switch in, make its STAB useless, and pose a Burn and Psychic threat.
Heracross: I think Gyarados can take Heracross on, that's why he's there. Plus he's a beast.
Salamence: Porygon2 can take on Physical ones in the same way he does Gyarados. The Special ones.....they might be a problem, but Deoxys can take it out with Ice Beam.
Togekiss: Electivire resists its STAB and gets a boost from T-Wave while eating a STAB Super effective Thunderbolt.
Gengar: Deoxys can Psychic it to death. If it doesn't have Focus Blast, Porygon2 could probably paralyze and stall it.
Garchomp: Ack, Garchomp! Deoxys can't switch in, but Ice Beam will kill it. Porygon might be able to...but I dunno.
Lucario: Deoxys can Superpower it, but Extremespeed might be too much for its frail body. Gyarados can take it on, though, I'd assume, with Intimidate and Earthquake.
Starmie: I think Porygon would be able to take him on, with Thunderbolt/Wave. Woohoo, the speed demon Deoxys can Thunderbolt him. I dunno how much it will do, but I don't know how much Starmie would do to it either.
Weavile: Deoxys can Superpower it. I have actually stalled out a Weavile with my Porygon, and the Weavile even had Brick Break! It didn't even do 50% to me. So I Paralyzed it and Tbolted away. But Forretress can kill it off.
Dugtrio: Porygon can turn its trap against it! I don't know how much Dugtrio can do to it, but judging by how little he took from the aforementioned Weavile, I'd say he could Ice Beam / Recover stall it.
Porygon-Z: Electivire can switch in on his Thunderbolt. I think Electivire outspeeds him, but I'm not 100% on that. Deoxys can superpower.
Machamp: Deoxys can Psychic that. Gardevoir can burn it, and Psychic it.
Snorlax: Electivire can Cross Chop it, and Deoxys can superpower it. I'm pretty sure Gyarados could take it on as well.
Zapdos: Hmm....I don't know if Porygon could take this one on. Electivire can make its STAB useless and HP [Ice] it. Deoxys can Ice Beam it, but I've heard Zapdos can be very bulky.
Suicune: Suicune...I'm not really sure if Porygon or Deoxys can touch that (maybe if I gave Porygon Toxic), but Gyara might be able to Taunt it and DD up for an Earthquake, if it doesn't have HP [Electric].
Breloom: Deoxys can Ice Beam it. Gardevoir can Burn it, but it does frequent Toxic Orb, so that may be futile. Gyarados can Taunt it so it doesn't Spore + Sub [+ Leech Seed] on me.
Ninjask: Lol, Gardevoir and Porygon love the extra speed. I could put in Forretress and SR, then Gyro Ball or whatever. Deoxys can BoltBeam it, and is faster before the speed boost. EVire can psuedo BoltBeam it. Truly, I don't think it has any hope. XD
Metagross: Electivire can Flamethrower it, but I don't think it'll OHKO, and I know its EQ will OHKO me back...perhaps Gyarados could take it on if it doesn't have Thunderpunch, or Gardevoir can burn it....
Heatran: My tracers screw over the choiced ones, and most Heatrans are choiced. If they aren't, then I'm sure that Deoxys could superpower it, or EVire could Cross Chop it.
Celebi: I really don't think that EVire's Flamethrower would do much. Certainly not enough to take it out before it does me in. Gyara could Taunt it, but both of its attacks are futile against it. Porygon and Deoxys may have Ice Beam, but I don't know if they'll work either. Maybe Pory, since he has recovery.
Jirachi: Electivire can Flamethrower, Gyarados can Earthquake (although many Jirachis have Thunder/bolt).....Hmm....
Dragonite: Deoxys can Ice Beam it, as can Porygon. Electivire can HP [Ice] it.
Mamoswine: Deoxys can Superpower it, although it will most likely have Ice Shard. Electivire can Flamethrower / Cross Chop it. Forretress can wall it for a bit, I guess...but it could help Gardy switch in for the WoW.
Gallade: Forretress can wall it, but I don't know how many Close Combats it would be able to take. Gardevoir resists its brother's STAB moves, but I think that they use Night Slash. She can burn him, too.
Yanmega: Again, my tracers love the speed boost. Gardy hates Bug Buzz, though, so Pory2 can usually take it on with its super effective moves, recovery, and paralysis.
Kingdra: I never really thought Kingdra as much of a threat...but I suppose that Pory2 would be able to take it on. It's not like it would get a sweep, I'd wear it down eventually, prolly with Gyarados or something.
Roserade: My Ice Beamers, Deoxys can Porygon2, make short work of it. Electivire can Flamethrower it, too.
Scizor: Electivre's Flamethrower makes short work of Scizor.
EDIT2: A link to the Marriland Team Builder image of the weakness / resistance chart for my team. Note that I have three Pokemon with one weakness, one Pokemon with two, and two Pokemon with three. I posted the link instead of the chart itself since it stretched out the page and was obnoxious. You have to zoom in to see it.
