XY OU Need some tips, shooting to get to 1600.

Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
Gotta love Dragonite. One of the most consistently good Pokemon since the generation it was released, and one of my personal favorites. Weakness policy+Multiscale is almost unstoppable if played correctly. The goal is to activate weakness policy on the same turn as I dragon dance, and then I am at 2.5 ATK and 1.5 Speed. Proceed to demolish competition.

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Baton Pass
- Soft-Boiled
- Will-O-Wisp
Mew has to be the most versatile mons around. Most people expect stall breaker Mew, and he ends up transferring that nasty plot onto one of his teammates that can destroy entire teams. Will-o-wisp is to cripple physical attackers, soft-boiled is for healing when he needs it. Thinking about switching to wish but don't know yet.

Gardevoir @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Trace
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
Gardevoir, the mon most blessed by the introduction of the all-powerful fairy typing. Also the mon who usually gets baton-passed the nasty plot from Mew, and with the speed-boost from choice scarf, it becomes an almost impossible threat to contain. All its moves are for coverage, moonblast slaughters whole teams if they do not have a steel or poison type.

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 248 HP / 132 Def / 128 SpA
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Sleep Powder
Mega-Venusaur is basically on the team to take hits, put things to sleep, and heal itself along the way. Without a powerful flying type (namely Talonflame) bringing down this behemoth is not an easy task. The Ev's let it take physical hits while still dishing out some pain in return. The move set is pretty self explanatory.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Protect
Ferrothorn, in my opinion, has to be the best hazard setter and lead in the game. The combo of stealth rock+3 layers of spikes puts massive holes in HP of whoever switches in, and gyro ball's power reaches monsterous levels due to such a low speed stat.

Tentacruel @ Assault Vest
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def/16 SpA
Relaxed Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Sludge Wave
- Knock Off
Tentacruel is really the oddball of this team. He has good SPD, and decent SPA, so hey, let's slap an assault vest on him! And I will say it works like a
charm. The assault vest lets him take special hits while the EV's allow physical tanking as well. The burn from scald is a blessing as well. He functions extremely well as a spinner too because it is nearly impossible to OHKO this thing without a boost.
