When donning a Choice Scarf, Rotom-Wash is able to act as a fast pivot and a speed control option that is able to gain wave after wave of momentum for powerful wallbreakers like Weavile and Mega Medicham while also having a good defensive typing and ability, allowing it to gain opportunities to switch in and either gain momentum against or threaten Pokemon like Landorus-T and Heatran. Volt Switch gives opportunities for the aforementioned wallbreakers to come in safely despite their frailty. This pairs well with Rotom-W’s Water-type STAB, threatening Ground-types immune to Volt Switch such as Landorus-T and Gliscor. Trick allows Rotom-W to cripple Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Toxapex while also freeing up the move lock on Choice Scarf, allowing for Rotom-W to ease prediction against the aforementioned Electric-type immune Pokemon. Thunder Wave pairs well with Choice Scarf, as it allows Rotom-W to slow down imposing wallbreakers and setup sweepers that are otherwise faster than it, such as Tapu Lele, Gouging Fire, and Zamazenta. Will-O-Wisp makes Rotom-Wash a more immediate presence against physical attackers such as Dragonite and Mega Scizor, making them completely unable to snowball out of control. However, this does come at the cost of not being able to cripple Gouging Fire or Volcarona. Pain Split can also be used a limited form of recovery once Rotom-W has tricked its item, allowing it to stay in a game much longer and check Gliscor and Heatran more consistently. The EVs allow Rotom-W to outspeed Adamant Gouging Fire at +1. Tera Ghost allows Rotom-W to check dangerous wincons like Ursaluna and Swords Dance Gliscor much better while also granting a Fighting immunity against the likes of Zamazenta. However, Tera Steel can give Rotom-W a better matchup against Tapu Lele and Rillaboom so it can cripple them with status aliments. Rotom-W mainly fits on offense and bulky offense teams that lack speed control and want a fast pivot that can give opportunities for frail wallbreakers like Mega Medicham, Weavile, and Tapu Lele, pivoting them in on Ferrothorn, Raging Bolt, and Galarian Slowking, with Weavile being an especially good teammate due to it removing Galarian Slowking and Mega Latias with Pursuit. Pokémon that are good stopgaps into Rotom-W’s checks like Raging Bolt and Mega Latios such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn are good teammates. Pivots like Mega Scizor and Landorus-T form VoltTurn cores with Rotom-Wash, allowing for high amounts of chip damage to rack up and paving the way for the aforementioned wallbreakers to break through teams easier. In return, Rotom-W provides a check to and can potentially cripple Pokemon problematic to these teammates, like Gliscor, Heatran, and Zamazenta.

Trick allows Rotom-W to cripple Pokemon like Ferrothorn and Toxapex while also freeing up the move lock on Choice Scarf, allowing for Rotom-W to ease prediction against the aforementioned Electric-type immune Pokemon. Thunder Wave slows down imposing offensive threats like Tapu Lele and Gouging Fire and as such pairs well with the Choice Scarf due to Rotom-W being able to outspeed and cripple setup sweepers that either boost their speed or are naturally faster than it, like Gouging Fire or Zamazenta. you already mentioned gouging here; i also think this sentence can just be condensed into something like "Thunder Wave pairs well with Choice Scarf, as it allows Rotom-W to slow down imposing wallbreakers and setup sweepers that are otherwise faster than it, such as Tapu Lele, Gouging Fire, and Zamazenta." Will-O-Wisp makes Rotom-Wash a more immediate presence against physical attackers such as Dragonite and Mega Scizor, making them completely unable to snowball out of control. The EVs allow Rotom-W to outspeed Adamant Gouging Fire. at +1? specify here Tera Steel allow Rotom-W a better matchup against Tapu Lele and Rillaboom so it can cripple them with status aliments. Tera Ghost is another option that allows Rotom-W to check Ursaluna and Swords Dance Gliscor much better while also granting a Fighting immunity against the likes of Zamazenta. reverse order and emphasis as specified in the change i made to slashes Rotom-W mainly fits on offense and bulky offense teams that lack speed control and want a fast pivot that can give opportunities for frail wallbreakers like Mega Medicham and Tapu Lele, pivoting them in on Ferrothorn, Raging Bolt, and Galarian Slowking. mention weavile somewhere here and specify its ability to pursuit trap the mons that washtom commonly baits in (gking/mti@s/raging bolt/etc) Pokémon that are good stopgaps into Rotom-W’s checks like Raging Bolt and Mega Latias such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn are good teammates. Pivots like Mega Scizor and Landorus-T form VoltTurn cores with Rotom-Wash, allowing for high amounts of chip damage to rack up and paving the way for the aforementioned wallbreakers to break through teams easier.
