NetBattle updated with D/P?

I'm really sorry if this has been asked before, but I looked around and couldn't find anything about it. Will NetBattle be updated with D/P pokemon, stats, moves, etc., and if so, when will it happen? I love playing the actual main game, but the competitive battling is where it's most fun, and it's a lot easier to make a team in NetBattle and test it out than it is to spend dozens of hours raising a team in D/P, only to discover that it sucks.

It won't happen. There's Competitor, which will eventually come out, and it will support D/P.
