Its job on the team is to paralyze the opponents, and DIB to weaken foes with flinches and its high base power. Superpower > Earthquake as it helps to wear down ferrothorn for kyurem to more easily break through the team. I chose protective pads as I tend to spam DIB + Thunder Wave a lot so doing it into helmet corv, pex, or garchomp would really limit the amount of progress I can make.

Torn-t was chosen as a mon that can threaten most of the tier and be able to check Pokémon such as dragapult, blacephalon, and volcanion. With the additional coverage of heat wave, it is able to threaten out ferrothorn and corviknight which can otherwise annoy it. I specifically chose assault vest as the dragapult and blacephalon MU were a bit wack and I needed something to stop them without relying on mandibuzz or blissey as they are most of the time momentum sinks and sometimes do nothing.

Standard sp. def rocks lando-t, it is able to keep momentum, set up rocks, and poison foes for pokemon such as melmetal, and kyurem to more easily take advantage of them to break through such as lando-t, garchomp, buzzwole, tyranitar, and zapdos to name a few. The speed is to outspeed pelliper while being as slow as possible to make sure to outspeed opposing landorus-t. I chose max sp. def as it helps to check volcarona, zapdos, and heatran which the team would otherwise.

Tapu fini job is to provide speed control, misty terrain so pokemon such as zapdos, moltres, and the occasional flame body heatran cannot status melmetal which would otherwise cripple it, while also protecting kyurem against toxapex toxic, zapdos' paralysis, and weakens draco meteors from dragapult, hydreigon, and the rare dracozolt. Tapu fini also provides defog support, and trick which would let me cripple pokemon such as volcarona, dragonite, blissey, heatran, ferrothorn, and zapdos.

Kyurem is the main breaker alongside Melmetal, with the new popular never-melt ice set, It can take advantage of spikes even more as it forces even more switches as it is no longer choice locked, so scouting with heatran on an ice move is no longer an option and has to switch again to take even more hazard damage. It also abuses paralysis support as it gets more opportunities to fire off its stabs and threaten pokemon attempting to stall it out such as sp. def clefable, corviknight, and slowking-g.

Ferrothorn is the main water resist and my urshifu-r surging strike switch in, it provides its classic support of leech seed, knock and spikes to whittle and cripple opponents via removing their boots and leftovers, damaging them via leech seed, or threatening spikes on common threats such as tapu koko, tapu fini, blissey, and taking advanatage of choice locked pokemon such as draco meteor dragapult, leaf blade kartana, and rillaboom locked into grass stab. It mainly helps kyurem and melmetal with spikes as most of its awnsers are grounded pokemon such as ferrothorn, toxapex, slowking-g, slowbro, and scizor.

In terms of how the team runs, one major recommendation I would make would be to modify Ferrothorn’s EV’s. Making it more physically defensively both allows them to work better as a check to wall breakers like Urshifu and even Weavile, it also allows Ferro to take significantly reduced damage from the most common hazard lead Lando-T, turning non SD variants into setup fodder for spikes:

Defensive Lando’s w/o Leech Seed
0 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 88-105 (25 - 29.9%) -- 0.1% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Defensive Lando’s w/ Leech Seed
0 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 88-105 (25 - 29.9%) -- possible 8HKO after Leftovers recovery and Leech Seed recovery

Offensive Lando’s w/o Leech Seed
252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 106-126 (30.1 - 35.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Offensive Lando’s w/ Leech Seed
252 Atk Landorus-Therian Earthquake vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 106-126 (30.1 - 35.8%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery and Leech Seed recovery

It also allows Ferro to more easily stay in on common physical Defoggers such as Corviknight and Mandibuzz. As well as providing a reliable physical wall since the team lacks that.

in regards to other mons, no real main issues I can see. The teams weak to DD dragapult with flamethrower since if it can get to +2 since it one shot every mon, but DD pull is really only found on hyper offence.

either way fun team, hope my recommendation is helpful.
