Welcome to Week 1 of NeverUsed's Official Ladder Tournament. If your sign-up post does not follow the rules explained below, it will be ignored.

This tour will run slightly differently than the usual ladder tour as we are no longer requiring you to make new alts for every cycle. This tour will run for 3 weeks total, with the 10 highest ELOs (aka the 10 highest people on ladder who signed up in this thread on their chosen alt) at the end of each week qualifying for playoffs. Furthermore, the two people with the highest ELO at the end of the qualification period will receive a BYE in r1 of playoffs, thus providing an incentive for people to keep laddering after they've qualified and keep the ladder active throughout.


Cycle 3 will run for 7 days starting now and end on Wednesday 23rd, 6am GMT+10.


1. Your hosts for this year's NULT are the NU Forum Mod Team (myself, Pokeslice, and Kiyo) . We will be using the regular Pokemon Showdown SV NU ladder for this tournament, not a new one.

2. . In order to sign-up for the NULT, FOLLOW THE SIGN-UP FORMAT BELOW AND REGISTER YOUR FRESHLY MADE ALT ON POKEMON SHOWDOWN USING THE FORMAT BELOW, REMEMBER YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A NEW ALT FOR EVERY WEEK ANYMORE.

[NULTUT] ForumNameHere - "ForumNameHere" obviously denotes your forum name. You only need to use this one alt for the duration of the qualifications stage.

3. YOU MUST SIGN UP WITH YOUR FRESHLY MADE ALT BEFORE STARTING BATTLES WITH IT. You will not be allowed to edit this alt after you include it in your initial sign-up for any given cycle.

4. Anyone caught cheating, aka boosting / stealing ladder alts / asking opponents to forfeit etc will be banned from the tournament and infracted.
