New Cloning Glitch in D/P

Ok, so I got on wi-fi to trade with Bons, a member of these forums. I traded Chill's Togekiss for Plust's Blissey if that matters. As everyone may know, at the end of the trade, the "Communicating" screen appears. At this point in the trade, the connection was broken and we both went back to the bottom floor of our respective Pokemon Centers. I looked at my party and there was still a Togekiss there and no Blissey. I hadn't heard from Bons so I pm'd him to see if we could make the trade. The following conversations took place:

When the trade disconnected, I ended up with the same Togekiss and no Blissey. Let me know when you can get back on.

WHat ???
I got that Togekiss?!

Wow, cloning glitch? Could you try to trade me another one and see if it goes through?

Ok, so to sum it up:
1) We traded.
2) The trade was disconnected at the "Communicating" screen as the trade was being finalized and one poke was deleted while the other was cloned.

I don't know how reliable this is or if it is even worth people's time but I wanted to document this because normally things like this just don't happen although it is somewhat like the GTS glitch.

Mods: I wasn't sure where to post this and I haven't heard of anything like it before so feel free to move it.

At first I thought it was a Joke but it isn´t.The Blissey was deleted and I got the Togekiss!!!!
It happend everything like travissurfer said.

It's a legit method. I've experienced it as well. Was trading a Torchic. His connection was shabby ; we both ended up with the same Torchic, so I wrote off the lost trade and tossed the cloned Torchic.

It might be valuable if you can remember who was the trade server and who was the trade client ; that might be the difference between who gets the clone and which pokemon disappears.

I think we all knew about it - but this is even more unstable than the GTS method so "why bother"

This is pretty similar to how cloning worked in RBY I think
