ORAS OU New Era has begun!

Introduction

Hi this my third rmt this time with my friend _quint ^^ We wanted to make a oras team so here it is.

Overview
Latias.gif

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Roost
- Defog

Latias will give me a pretty virtual ground immunity, which is nice. and I needed a defogger because Beedrill can't take hazards for shit man and euhm Draco and psyshock are for dual stab, the hp investment is so that I can survive at crucial points :P that's it I think up to the next pokémon! ^^

OgxHbE5.gif

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 16 HP / 252 Atk / 240 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Superpower
- Earthquake

This is my lead and with this choice scarf he says fuck you greninja outspeed u-turn and ohko him most of the time and he also has superpower to deal with some annoying pokémons and stone edge for coverage earthquake is therefor fast stab damage to hurt the enemy team a lot. Next Pokémon! ^^

Beedrill @ Beedrillite
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Atk /4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Protect
- Drill Run

This is basically my main sweeper if the threats are gone like pokémon with priority :) and u-turn is for offensive momentum, poison jab for stab and protect for save mega and drill run is to kill annoying steel types who want to stop my sweep :c and beedrill outspeeds a lot in this meta I have noticed unless priority like I said before.

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Slack Off
Is a decent check to the omnipresent Mega Salamence, certain variants of Greninja, Heatran, and opposing Landorus. and is overall one of the best physical tanks in the current meta and also one of my favorite pokémons because of its design ^^ thanks for the tip

Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon

Magnezone is able to fulfill its roles of trapping steels such as ferrothorn/scizor and beat them and he also can 2hko azumarill which is a big threat in this meta volt switch is there if you don't like ur match up flash cannon for fairies, 0 atk iv is there for foul play and euhm hp to survive some hits from Pokémon now it's time for the next pokémon ^^!

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 SpD
Calm Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Stealth Rock

It checks pretty much everything Sylveon did and more while providing the team with hazards and having its own reliable recovery. This my new anwser to set-up pokes because guagsire is gone :] and sr can make sweeps more possible and it tanks a lot of pokémons :] Thanks for the tip of using him and I tested him it's definitely a good pokémon
this was it thanks for reading :3

Hey! this is an amazing team building process is well thought out. I have something to suggest over the Magnezone however that you could try and that is a magneton over magnezone.

Magneton_XY.gif

Magneton @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon

OR

Magneton @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon

Personally I'm a fan of the choice scarf set, Unlike Magnezone, Magnetons niche is that its able to Outspeed Tyranitar and anything under base 70 speed, whether as Magnezone lacks this. Running a dual scarf team could also give you better momentum at the cost of a tiny bit less power. your magnezone set is beaten by choice scarf tyranitar and much more and I feel the momentum boost might be beneficial to your team. Choice scarf magneton is also able to outpace greninja, giving it surprise factor. Magneton will also be able to furfill it's roles of trapping steels such as ferrothorn/scizor and beat them.
so I hope you take this into consieration and prehaps give it a try :)

Hey mate, great team!
The only things I can think of are changing the 4 HP EV's on Beedrill to Def/SpDef to give it 4 switch-ins (i.e. it takes less damage from SR). You could also switch up Protect > X-Scissor if you wanted to bring M-Beedrill in safely, but that's up to you. A well played Greninja can cause trouble for this team, as you are forced to sac something to revenge-kill with Scarf Lando-T, but that's mainly because Greninja is amazing in ORAS with Gunk Shot.
Overall, really cool team!

Hello this is a pretty cool concept for a Mega Beedrill team but I feel like some improvements can be made to improve efficiency.

First of all, I feel like Quagsire is a wasted slot on this team considering how poorly it does on any playstyle other than stall. It's useless on your team.
Slowbro plays the exact same role a whole lot better on your balance team, and is a decent check to the omnipresent Mega Salamence, certain variants of Greninja, Heatran, and opposing Landorus.
I recommend this set for your team:

Slowbro@Leftovers
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold

Scald
Ice Beam
Slack Off
Thunder Wave / Calm Mind

Protect is pretty much mandatory on Beedrill to help it Mega Evolve since it Megas on approx. nothing in the ORAS OU meta. Poison Jab has enough neutral coverage on its own to clean up offensive teams late game anyway so replace X Scissor with Protect.

You also don't really elaborate Sylveon's role on this team much, not very many of your Pokemon make good use of it's Wishes considering Beedrill's frailty and the fact that a lot of your team has its own recovery anyway.
I also notice you have no hazards on your team, which is essential on a team to tax switching around as well as assisting Beedrill's late game sweep. I would replace Sylveon with Stealth Rock Clefable. It checks pretty much everything Sylveon did and more while providing the team with hazards and having it's own reliable recovery.
The set can be found here: http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/clefable
Since you do have Magnezone on your team you can opt out of using Fire Blast on Clefable for Calm Mind in order to have another strong win condition, especially against more balanced or defensive teams.
Heatran is still looking like a problem but I cant really make any more suggestions that dont open up bigger holes or make the team drastically different and not really yours anymore.

Thats all I have, good luck!

the only suggestion i have is protect>x-scissor to guarantee a safe mega considering the drastic difference in speed and the fact that you will mostly be clicking u-turn as your stab anyway

Me and quint think Magnezone is just fine :]

Thanks for poiting that out we changed it :]

Me and quint talked about this and we decided to do it so thanks :]

We will :]

I would suggest to run knock off over drill run since you have magnezone, bc most skarmory on stall run shed shell and ferrothorn run shed shells

Nice team yo. First of mega-mence and greninja are now banned in OU so using checks and counters for it makes no sense. But I think that Slowbro is definitely better than Quagsire. However Talonflame completely annihilates the team if Slowbro is weakened. I would recommend using heatran. It sets rocks and does an amazing job of walling tflame.
