Well, after the fiasco that was my first Platinum RMT, I have decided to dedicate more time into creating a better team. Here is what I have come up with:
Swampert & Leftovers(Relaxed)
Torrent
240 HP/200 def/14 SpA/56 SpcD
-EQ
-Surf
-IB
-SR
Swampert is one of my favorite Pokemon, and after seeing the new offensive Metagame, I decided to pull out a bulky water lead right off the bat. After a few test runs, IO realized how efficient Swamp was in putting up SR. He is a major counter to most annoying leads, most notably Heatran and Metagross. Explosion is a threat, of course. Coincidentally, Swamp was able to survive an Azelf explosion at max health. My main physical wall.
Rotom-H & Leftovers(Calm)#Couch
Levitate
252 HP /120 def/138 SpecD
-Discharge
-Overheat
-Will-O-Wisp
-Shadow Ball
Rotom...honestly, I was surprised to see myself using one. With so many immunities and resistances, I just had to try one. When I last played, Rotom was useless garbage, yet now...he functions as my mixed tank and status spreader. He cuts pokes attack in pieces will Will-O, OHKOs Gya with discharge, which has a great paralysis rate. Shadow Ball OHKOs Gengar and friends, and 3HKOs Dusknoir.
#Couch because when I first saw this thing, it looked like a couch with a spike to me.
Metagross & Life Orb(Adamant)#Metagame<-- changed as per joshes advice
Clear Body
252 atk/60 HP/196 spd
-Meteor Mash
-Agility
-EQ
-T-Punch
Agiligross is my favorite form of Metagross. Not only is it sturdy, but after 2 agilities, Meta can outspeed most non-scarfed Pokemon, which is great stuff considering the damage output he can dish out. STAB Meteor Mash as the base attack, Agility to increase my speed, EQ for a powerful land move, and T-Punch to OHKO Gyarados and other things who think they can get in for free.
#Metagame becuase Metagross owns the Metagame.:)
Scizor & Life Orb(Adamant)
Technician
33 HP/252 atk/224 spd
-Bullet Punch
-Swords Dance
-Brick Break
-X-Scissor
Scizor has to be one of the most brutal Pokemon out there. a STAB teched Bullet Punch can OHKO things like Azelf, gengar, Weavile, and Alakazam without SD with impunity. Scizor makes a great late game sweeper, as with 2 SD, he can easily sweep a weakened team, breaking any walls along the way.All in all, he is one of my faves as well.
Latias & Choice Specs(Timid) #GG
6 def/252 spd/ 252 spatk
Levitate
-Draco meteor
-Surf
-Trick
-Dragon Pulse
Latias is pretty much my end all sweeper. STAB Choice Specs Draco Meteor either OHKOs or puts a huge dent in just about anything. Surf for type coverage, Dragon Pulse for a dragon type move that wwll not kill sp spatk, and trick to screw over walls. It is pretty fun to see the opponent struggle on what to switch to on Latias.:P I will probably be replacing Latias with Latios when it is OU. I prefer the extra kick in spatk rather than the boosted spdef.
#GG because if Latias is out at the right time, it is pretty much end game.
Salamence & Choice Scarf(Naughty)
252 atk/176 spd/80 spatk
Intimidate
-EQ
-Outrage
-Fire Blast
-H Pump
Salamence is my revenge killer, and can basically get the surprise shot on nearly any unscarfed Pokemon for the KO. The reason I chose Salamence as my revenge killer is because revenge killers these days are too easily countered. With such a large movepool, I figured a Scarfed Mixmence would be the penultimate in revenge killing. This assumption was correct, as it has never failed me in killing off weakened/overconfident Pokes.
That is my team. Rate away!:)
