i would really like to start a thread for new ideas; the metagame doesn't advance itself, so i will try just about any idea because i have infinite access in my pokemon platinum.

This should go in the Stark Mountain forum. If you're just going to post a new moveset, do that in the "New and creative moveset" thread.
 
I think he has a point here. Most forums have a "New and creative moveset" thread but I didn't see one in DST.
 
There's the "new and creative movesets" thread and two threads about offensive and defensive synergies. Just use the search function. Also, you can discuss new strategies in the NP Suspect Process threads as long as they're not useless gimmicks.
