new team idea...RMT!

well im new to smogon, and i wanted to get my team rated, so here we go.
feel free to constructively criticize my team to the fullest extent.
=]

Zapdos@Lum Berry
Pressure
Calm
252 HP/ 200 SpD/ 58 Spe
T-Wave
Roar
Roost
HP Grass

Lum Berry is there for sleepers and other t-waver's. T-Wave lead poke and roar away. HP Grass for ground types, obviously. If Zappy is low on HP after the T-Wave, Roost until Parahax kicks in, then roar. Keep repeating this process.

Empoleon@Leftovers
Torrent
Calm
252 HP/ 200 SpD/ 58 Def
Ice Beam
Grass Knot
Iron Defense
Surf

Resists Zappy's weaknesses, Rock and Ice. Switch him into an ice or rock attack, and iron defense on the switch.

Electivire@Life Orb
Motor Drive
Adamant
252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP
Thunderpunch
Ice Punch
EQ
Cross Chop

Yes, I know E-vire is overrated and he sucks and blah blah...but he's here to take any electric attacks that are thrown at empoleon. Motor Drive and GG....sorta.

Machamp@Leftovers
No Guard
Jolly
252 Att/200 Spe/58 HP
Dynamic Punch
Thunder Punch
Stone Edge
Ice Punch

Sweeper to bring in after T-Waves are set up. No Guard assures that Dynamic Punch hits. Tried to make him bulky but I'm not sure if I did..help on EV spread?

Heracross@Choice Band
Swarm
Jolly
252 Att/252 Spe/6 HP
Megahorn
Stone Edge
Close Combat
HP Ice

Not sure if I like this moveset. I chose Swarm over Guts because I'm not really planning on this Hera being statused. I would have to say this is the poke that I need the most help on..maybe even swapping him out for another poke could be a possibility.

Mismagius@Leftovers
Levitate
Timid
108 HP/236 Spe/169 SpA
Sub
CM
Shadow Ball
HP Fighting

First of all, I would like to say that yes, I did take Smogon's set. Anyways..
This set hits everything it faces for no less than neutral damage. Also, if Zappy is down, I have a safety for EQ's that E-vire is undoubtedly going to be threatened by.

Well, there's my idea. I hoped you liked it.
and if not, then criticize me please.

thanks in advance.

y are u roaring without no stealth rock or spikes..u should add stealth rock to empoleon..and y u have hp ice on hera??..and electivire works well with gyrados...

Okay...for starters, I'm relatively new to Smogon myself, but there are just some things that I have to point out, because they don't make sense to me.

Heracross is my first area of critique. Hidden Power Ice should be replaced by either Earthquake (for damaging fire types that would normally do alot of damage to it) or Pursuit (to catch enemies scared of Heracross.) Using the Guts trait provides the team a status wall, and gives Heracross an even larger boost to it's already large attack stat, so you help it's entire move list out instead of just Megahorn. Choice Scarf is also a valid item option, only if you want to have a faster Heracross. Then again, people expect Heracross alot these days, so seeing it will have them prepared for either Choice item variant.

Next is a small Electivire suggestion. Change it's item to the Expert Belt. Electivire's move set (as you've listed,) though very common, hits 13 of 17 types for super effective damage. You gain a power boost without a cost of health, and basically surefire knowledge that the power boost is there.

Zapdos...somehow just bugs me. If you want the special wall variant, I can understand, and instead of Hidden Power Grass, make it Hidden Power Water if possible. There are a few Rock/Steel Types out there, and Water would hit them for super effective damage, whereas Grass wouldn't. In my opinion it should have an electric attack like Thunderbolt on it for the sake of having a powerful attacking move. It also happens to be a great Gyrados counter, since many of the physical sweeper variants carry Earthquake, which Zapdos is immune to. If you want recovery, Leftovers is always an option, and you can keep ThunderWave and Roar that way.

Empoleon...something about having Iron Defense instead of something to resist STAB Thunderbolts from the likes of Lanturn, Jolteon, other Zapdos and the like just seems kinda outta place to me. Agility could be used to provide Empoleon with some turns to attack, or protect maybe to scout out moves of opponents before switching to a counter.

Those are all just ideas, though. It's all up to you. I hope you found this helpful. ^^
