New team I'm testing on Shoddy

ok, this is a team i just threw together, and i just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions:

Gengar@life orb
Timd
4 hp, 252 sp att, 252 speed
-Hypnosis
-Shadow Ball
-Thunderbolt
-Focus Blast

My startagy for gengar is for him to come out first and put my oponents lead to sleep, allowing me to switch to a new poke unhindered, it can(and will) be used as a sp sweeper later in the game, and will most likely be used as my main counter for fighting type moves(and possibly ground type moves).

Forretress@leftovers
Relaxed
252 hp, 162 att, 96 def
-Toxic Spikes
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin
-Explosion

my physical tank/staller, toxic spikes to jack up my oponent, rapid spin to get rid of oponent spikes, earthquake for offence, and explosion to get in some damage before i die.

Lucario@life orb
Inner Focus
Adamant
4 hp, 252 att, 252 speed
-Extremespeed
-Close Combat
-Swords Dance
-Crunch

my physical sweeper, hes got CC for stab, crunch, for thos pesky cresselia, swords dance to boost his power(should i ever get the chance to do that), and extremespeed, for taking out fragil sweepers.

Snorlax@leftovers
Thick Fat
Careful
168 hp, 120 def, 220 sp def
-Curse
-Body Slam
-Rest
-Earthquake

my sp wall/tank, basic curselax, hes got curse to boost his att and his sad sad def, body slam to paralize and do some STABd damage, rest to get rid of poison or whatever, as well as to heal, and earthquake for power.

Infernape@life orb
Naive
24 att, 252 sp att, 232 speed
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot
-Close Combat

my first mix sweeper, nasty plot to boost sp att, flamethrower and grass knot for powerful coverage, CC for power and STAB(and taking out blisseys).

Swampert@leftovers
Relaxed
240 hp, 216 def, 52 sp att
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam
-Surf
-Stealth Rock

my second mix sweeper, earthquake for STABd power, ice beam, cuz atleast ONE of my pokes need to cover the oh-so-common dragons, surf for STABd power and coverage, and stealth rock just because.

so thats my team, i hav forretress for def, snorlax for sp def(not that bad when used together), lucario, for fast kills, gengar to cover fighting(for snorlax and lucario), and ground(mostly for infernape), then i hav infernape and swampert working together since they can, for the most part, counter for each other. so, any questions or comments?(especially about items, since 3 of my pokes hav life orb, and 3 hav leftovers...)

scarf gengar really eats this team up so crunch on snorlax first and foremost. might add more later.

Nowadays, if you're leading with Gengar, it's almost a neccessity to have a scarf on him. If your opponent led with ScarfGar, somebody's almost guaranteed to be asleep, and nobody on your team looks as though sleep will be a good thing.

I think you're going to find Forretress only setting up Toxic Spikes being a bit less efficient. Also, those moves leave you open to a lot of things. It looks to be more offensive than normal, but is easily blocked by anything Ghost, seeing how almost all ghost have Levitate (albeit Dusknoir doesn't, but Dusknoir easily shrugs off an earthquake). I'd probably go with Spikes over Earthquake and get rid of the Attack EVs.

Gengar-Wide Lens, Helps Hypnosis and Focus Blast hit more since they aren't the most accurate

Forretress-Fine Edit:Didn't see Stealth Rock on Swampert

Lucario-Fine

Snorlax-Easily countered by Dusknoir/Gengar. Give it Crunch.

Infernape-Fine

Swampert-Fine

i think you need to put HP ice on gengar. your only dragon counter, heck your only ice/dragon move is on swampert and he has no way of healing. what are you gonna do against gyara? you better watch out cos once gengar's down (nd he's real frail) it's gg. you can explode on it but i have to say, that's not the most reliable counter either.
