New team made up of some of my fave's

Nidoking@Life Orb
Ability:
Rivalry
EVs:
200 Attack, 252 SpA, 56 Speed
Nature: Rash
Flame Thrower
Ice Beam
Earth Quake
Thunderbolt

Notes: An extremely versatile mixed sweeper that can effectively deal with a number of threats. I went with Rivalry because the vast majority of pokemon in battling are male (or have no gender) and poison point might screw up attempts at status from my other pokemon. Went with flamethrower for steels such as Scizor and Steelix.

Ledian@Light Clay
Ability:
Early Bird
EVs: 132 SpD, 126 HP, 252 Spe
Nature: CalmKnock Off
Encore
Reflect
Roost

Notes: He may be borderline NU but I love this little bug. He switches in on earthquakes targeting Nidoking, cross chops targeting Wigglytuff, or solarbeams/energy balls targeting quagsire with aplomb and encores the heck out of them. This then allows either a set up with reflect or a free knock of when the opponent switches out. Roost is for healing the damage taken from 1/4 effective hits.

Wigglytuff@Leftovers
Ability:
Cute Charm
EVs:
32 HP, 224 def, 252 SpD
Nature: Impish
Stealth Rock
Charm
Wish
Seismic Toss

Notes: Provides team support and looks adorable doing it, setting up stealth rock after coming out, using charm to encourage physical attackers to switch and providing team healing (as well as self healing) with wish.

Quagsire@Leftovers
Ability:
Water Absorb
EVs:
252 hp, 64 attk, 192 sp D
Nature: Adamant
Stockpile
Toxic
Waterfall
Stone Edge/Earthquake

Notes: Sort of a "tanksire", with stockpile instead of curse and adamant to help make up for the disparity in attack that the lack of curse causes. Toxic's to discourage walls from switching in on him, and waterfall and stone edge provide decent type coverage. Considering EQ over stone edge, because it gives me more coverage.

Rotom@Focus Sash
Ability:
Levitate
EVs: 252 Spe, 252 SpA, 6 hp
Nature: Timid
Confuse Ray
Thunder Wave
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt

Notes: When I first saw Rotom when playing D/P I was very much underwhelmed, however the little nuisance has grown on me, mostly as a result of it being extremely annoying to face during battle tower matches. The concept is simple: parafuse and then plug away with shadow ball and t-bolt. Focus sash helps against priority attacks that might kill Rotom due to his poor defenses.

not quite sure what to put in for the last pokemon-I know I have a serious ice weakness, but I don't want to change the actual pokemon used for my team-after all the concept is sort of a conglomeration of some of my favorites throughout the years. Any comments or suggestions?

Do you have an any fav fire-types? Mixape with Flamethrower and Brick Break helps.

Infernape@LifeOrb
Naive
x/252/x/252/x/6
1. Flamethrower
2. Brick Break
3. Shadow Claw
4. Stone Edge/EQ/Grass Knot

I'd assume this is a UU team considering every pokemon here is UU.

Anyways, an opinion of mine is that Clefable can use that exact same wigglytuff set (and pretty much any other wiggly set) with a better ability and better offensive options. There's really no point in using Wiggly for any reason other than aesthetics.

As for the last pokemon, you need a solid wall on the special side. Noctowl works well, with reliable recovery (a rarity in UU), sleep immunity (also helps with Ninetails), and respectable stats. It's still not really walling Omastar, Glaceon, or Ninetails, but nothing in UU will wall them.

I agree completely with you Kietharr in that there's nothing wiggly can do that clefable can't do better. The thing is though, that wigglytuff was one of my first pokemon to capture and train, along with nidoran, way back in the old R/B days. So although I acknowledge your point, and thank you for your comment, I'm going to stick with wiggly out of nostalgia. It's not the most effective option, much like going up against a guy with a machine gun dressed in plate mail and wielding a flail, but it's got style and charm.

As for my favorite fire types, I've always been partial to Torkoal, although I'm actually considering putting Cradily in, as it has a recovery move (recover), along with a great special def-the only thing I'm concerned about with that is that it'd give me another ice weakness (in the case of cradily) or another rock, water, and ground weakness in the case of essentially any UU fire type.
