SS OU New team RMT SS ou

Idk if some of you saw but I recently made another RMT here, and I was suggested to remake my team so I did!
Blaziken @ Liechi Berry
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Endure
- Reversal
- Knock Off
- Blaze Kick
This is what my team revolves around, The set is to take as much damage as possible, to leichi berry, and get reversal to base 200 power, which will can be situational is also extremely effective when it works.

Tapu Lele @ Life Orb
Ability: Psychic Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
This is apart of my core with blaziken. It gets taunt and kills the most common Pokémon as of now pex, it also taunts stallers and blocks of priorty users while also being an extremely effective sweeper. Its probably one of if not the most important asset to my team.
Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Transform
This is to check beast boost UB's, lando t, and basically all set up sweepers.

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Protect
- Toxic
And this is my defensive mon of the team, it defogs away all the hazards like T spikes and Sticky web will being able to hold its own in a stall fight, as well as being a great eq switch in
Garchomp @ Life Orb
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Scale Shot
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
This is my T wave/Glare resist, It also checks regeleki, zyguard, and when it sets up sd almost nothing that does not resist all of its move drops.
Durant @ Focus Sash
Ability: Hustle
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Hone Claws
- X-Scissor
- Iron Head
- Stone Edge
And finally my steel type, this is mostly used for toxic resist, but also sweeps with its surprisingly high speed and attack.

Great team! A couple tips:

  • Consider running protective pads over Liechi Berry on Blaziken: one way this set can lose is if the opponent has a Garchomp or Rocky Helmet Pex and they sack, and the recoil damage from Rough Skin/Rocky Helmet will KO you. Protective Pads stops this.
  • Change the Mandibuzz set to this:
  • Mandibuzz (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
    Ability: Overcoat
    EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
    Impish Nature
    - Knock Off
    - Defog
    - Roost
    - Toxic
  • Heavy-Duty Boots ensures that you won't be taking 25% from Rocks upon switch in, and Knock Off ensures that you will be able to remove incoming items and always break Spectrier's sub. The Spdef EVs are pumped up to better your matchup against opposing Spectrier, which is good as Spectrier has a habit of sweeping more offensive teams such as yours.
  • A couple things about Garchomp: Garchomp doesn't "resist" Glare, as Ground types can still be paralyzed by moves that aren't of the electric type. Zygarde was also banned from OU about a month ago, so you don't need to worry about playing against Zygarde.
  • Consider running Stealth Rock on Garchomp. I'm not much of a fan of it but it's your only source of entry hazards in the entire team, and pokemon like Blaziken and Tapu Lele really enjoy that chip damage upon entry.
  • Instead of Durant, running a steel type like Ferrothorn will really help you against threats like Magearna, Nidoking, and a host of other threats, as well as everything Durant could do. Try this set:
  • Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
    Sassy Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Spikes/Stealth Rock
    - Leech Seed
    - Knock Off
    - Gyro Ball
  • Run Stealth Rock if you want to keep Stone Edge on Garchomp, otherwise run Spikes, which are a nasty pairing alongside Tapu Lele.
