New team

K, I made a new team but I had some problems with azelf, so I hoped that someone might find a flaw in this plan, if not then that means i'm a bad trainer XD, tell me in full detail which pokemon to replace and analysis, thanks in advance.

1- Forretress: Lead Pokemon
2- Jellicent: Staller
3- Volcarona: Special Sweeper
4- Gliscor: Defensive Sweeper
5- Jirachi: Annoyer
6- Dragonite: Physical Sweeper

Team:

A- Forretress: @Leftovers
Sassy Nature
EV Spread: 133 Def - 125 Sp. Def - 252 HP
Ability: Sturdy
Moves:
1- Stealth Rock
2- Spikes
3- Gyro Ball
4- Rapid Spin

Notes: This is a great lead, he can survive a flamethrower with sturdy, and he can easily set up, unless the foe has rapid spin, stealth rock and spikes are mostly for fire types, and other pokemon if I get lucky, gyro ball is a good move, though its just a last chance move, rapid spin is for getting rid of entry hazards, which is good because it can't be affected by toxic spikes.

B- Dragonite: @Leftovers
Adamant Nature
252 Atk - 252 Speed - 4 HP
Ability: Multi-scale
Moves:
1- Dragon Dance
2- Dragon Claw
3- Fire Punch
4- Roost

Notes: This guy is incredible, he can sweep, and defend, this big guy can't be killed at full health unless he's hit with a blizzard from a kyreum or an ice beam from a max sp. atk latios with choice specs, meaning he can use dragon dance and sweep, I didn't add that much in HP because of the multi-scale, so it survives nearly anything, roost if for stalling and reactivating multi-scale over and over again, fire punch is for coverage against skarmory, and other steel types, sragon claw is for a STAB, this guy is my physical sweeper.

C- Volcarona: @Leftovers
Timid Nature
252 Speed - 252 Sp. Atk - 4 HP
Ability: Flame Body
Moves:
1- Quiver Dance
2- Bug Buzz
3- Fiery Dance
4- Hidden Power Rock

Notes: This guy is my special sweeper, with it's speed and sp atk it's one of the best special sweepers due to it's ability to learn moves like quiver dance, which raise 3 stats, that's right u heard me right, 3 stats, special defense, sp atk, speed, with bug buzz as its stab, it's incredible, fiery dance is because of it's ability to raise sp atk, hidden power is because of gyarados and other pokemon, also for coverage.

D- Gliscor: @Toxic Orb
Impish Nature
72 Speed - 252 HP - 183 Def
Ability: Poison Heal
Moves:
1- Protect
2- Earthquake
3- Ice Fang
4- Swords Dance

Notes: This guy is a great defensive wall, he can take a ton of hits, and can sweep, swords dance can start the sweeping process, earthquake is a STAB, Ice Fang is for coverage, Protect is to stall for Poison Heal.

E- Jellicent: @Leftovers
Bold Nature
44 Speed - 252 HP - 212 Def
Ability: Cursed Body
Moves:
1- Taunt
2- Scald
3- Recover
4- Toxic

Notes: This guy is a great wall, he can taunt preventing any pokemon like ferrothorn from not switching out, toxic can kill sweepers, Recover is for annoying and stalling, scald is like a damaging version of Will-O-Wisp.

_________________________________________________________________

F- Jirachi: @Leftovers
Jolly Nature
252 HP - 244 Sp. Def - 36 Speed
Ability: Serene Grace
Moves:
1- Iron Head
2- Thunder Punch
3- Wish
4- Body Slam

Notes: This guy is the most annoying thing since...well actually he is the most annoying pokemon, he can flinch all pokemon to death, everyone hates him except the people using him, he's cute and yet a strong pokemon, thunder and fire punch are for coverage, body slam is for paralysing pokemon, iron head is for the most annoying move in history.

Thanks for the help, please give me ideas on how to beat pokemon like life orb azelf.

Changing Jirachi to the super-overused SDefensive set is very helpful since it tanks even Azelf's Fire Blasts and hits back decently. The set is 252 HP/252 SDef with 4 Spe, and Iron Head/Thunder Wave/Wish/Fire Punch or Protect.

Thanks so much, though what nature should I add?

This team looks nice but be sure to keep your forretress alive as long as volcarona is living and needs to kill stuff. If your forretress gets killed before volcarona comes in it will be cripled by SR and then mostlikely killed without hesitation from a priority move or just anything that is faster then volcarona.

yeah, i've been having issues with stealth rock and volcarona, but I'll try and keep it alive, thanks for the advice! :)

Its hard to keep alive tho , maybe consider another wall/spinner.
I think a donphan would work nicely instead of forretress.
He will also give you ice shard wich is a valuable ice attack against dragons. Stab earthquake cant be underestimated too so if you ask me donphan would be more valuable then forretress

why would you suggest donphan? give me some reasons I'm not seeing to replace forretress with donphan, thanks!

well donphan can use rapid spin and set up SR, and has the ability to revenge kill with ice shard. Plus STAB earthquake means he isnt just dead weight once the hazards are all up.

Now for my opinion:
1) yes dragonite is very bulky, but with nearly no investment like you gave it, it doesnt make sense to keep roost there. It looks like what you do with dragonite is switch him in, allow mulitscale to take a hit while you DD, then attempt to sweep. You need coverage more than roost. I would swap in earthquake over roost so you are not totally walled by heatran (even balloonran, dragon claw to breAK ballow then EQ).
2) both of your walls (jelli/scor) are both physical walls, i either suggest changing the sets of one of them to be more specially oriented, or use a blissey or other special wall.

For starters , donphan isnt KO'd as soon as a forretress with a flamethrower.
His weaknesses (grass, water) are easy for your team to counter.
Water attacks would be easy to predict, so you can switch to Jellicent and get of a water absorb. (change its ability to water absorb then too ofcourse :))
And grass , almost all your pokes can take grass very good.
Donphan can also spin and put stealth rock (and i believe spikes , not sure on that)

but the thing is then I'll have 3 pokemon who have a weakness to water types, its too dangerous, tell me if theres anything else you suggest, and thanks.

If you give jellicent water absorb that isnt dangerous at all , it will actually benefit you then.

true, but if jellicent faints then i'll have a big problem on my hands, I cant just rely on 1 pokemon to cover a major weakness I have.

If you use specially defensive jirachi then jirachi can take water hits nicely , dragonite can take it too (defenatly with roost) .

eh I dont know, can u give me a full list of all pokemon I could replace with forretress, I wanna try em all out before I decide, also I do need a specially defensive jirachi, what is the nature for it?

Jirachi is gonna be a special wall, roost on dragonite has saved me a ton of times, it can activate multi-scale over and over again, so its not half bad, and besides, I can dragon dance 6 times to increase my atk by 6 stages, and roost helps dragon stay at full health, and with that kinda power, he can kill anything despite type effectiveness.

You mean a list of all spinners???

As for jirachi , a carefull nature to boost his special defense some more along with the EV's is nice.

well I've just lost a battle 3-0, this team really needs improving, I lost against a whimscott, do you have any ideas on how to counter stuff like that? prankster is annoying, but I need something to use on this team, any ideas?

Whimiscot with his prankster can be tricky but i never failed to get one down.
Just go with flying/fire/poison/bug (volcarona or something).
They arent that bulky anyways.

Well, I found a way around that, but I've has some trouble with scarfed pokemon, should I scarf volcarona or some other pokemon? and i was thinking of getting a bulky volcarona, now so far, i've been able to conter some pokemon, but I feel as if forretress isn't pulling it's weight, should I change it for something else?

Told you before to change it to donphan.
That would still be ok , but you could also consider skarmory.
Immunity to ground , poison . Resistant to dragon , makes for a very good defensive wall .
Scarfed pokemon are fast but usually not that hard hitting , if physical skarmory can take it , if special jelli can take it.
To kill those u can just put spikes and whirlwind with skarmory (or when its the last pokemon just drill peck/brave bird and roost)
Where jellicant usually can just burn it , recover , stall it out or maybe get a scald of in between if you see the option.

I use this jellicent:

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
252 Hp , 144 Defence , remaining EV's in speed/special defence as you like

This gives him i believe 270 in specal and normal defece, so makes for a sturdy common wall.

Thanks so much, though what nature should I add?
Careful

Also, although D-Nite is good as is, I believe that an EV spread of 252hp/30atk/220spd of 252hp/22atk/30spd is worth considering. The spread gives D-Nite a lot of bulk to set up with gl.

This team is actually nice. And he should keep forretress for any physical dragon moves. Jirachi can't take those. Also, if you find yourself losing, it's may not be because of the team but because you haven't been around in the metagame long enough to know the mechanics. Try watching some of the big youtubers battles, like on pokemoshpit.
