As the title says, i'm not extremely knowledgeable when it comes to competitive pokemon. Please take a look at my team and tell me how to make it better!

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
Naive Nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Overheat
- Close Combat
- Fake Out

My lead and all-time favorite pokemon. He's meant to be a suicide lead, but he normally takes down a few pokes before his inevitable doom. His biggest weakness is tanks (except for blissey), but stealth rocks makes him an invaluable resource when taking down Talonflame and Charizards, and he can take down other leads very well.

Blastoise @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Scald
- Toxic
- Rapid Spin
- Dragon Tail

So this one used to be Starmie, but I changed it to Blastoise because of his bulk. He immediately proved his worth. He works as a nice tank, and toxic is a great asset to have. I kinda wish he could do a little bit more damage, though. Any suggestions for a good rapid spinner would be greatly appreciated.

Mawile @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Play Rough
- Swords Dance

The core sweeper of the team. He basically wrecks anything that looks at him funny. He's the one who deals with Azumarill, Tyranitar, and most Dragon types (screw you garchomp and Charizard X). I won't be changing him much, but I have been thinking about protect as a replacement for swords dance.

Goodra @ Assault Vest
Ability: Gooey
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Sludge Bomb
- Earthquake

This one used to be Choice Scarf Nidoking, who was an awesome revenge killer, but he almost secured a loss if he was the last one on my team. I love Goodra's bulk and coverage, but the special attack loss from Draco Meteor can get a bit annoying.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- X-Scissor
- Swords Dance

I have no idea what i'm doing with this guy. He barely does anything before going down, and doesn't help my team get any momentum (I have no idea what that means, but I hope I'm using it right). I might just be playing him wrong, and I've been thinking of replacing him with someone like Mamoswine for the Ice-type coverage.

Sableye @ Lum Berry
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Bold Nature
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Foul Play
- Recover

I really can't think of battling without Sableye. He's a great spinblocker, and my immediate answer to most stallers, physical sweepers, and support leads. I replaced the leftovers with lum berry, because it seems to be more helpful if he gets burned or poisoned.

As a team, the biggest problem that comes to mind is Gliscor, as I have no real Ice moves, and Blastoise simply doesn't do enough damage (I've considered Rotom-W for this problem). Tell me what you think! How much does my team suck?

Hey, cool team there. From the looks of it, it is a Balance team with M-Mawile as its focus. It's a great team, but I have a few suggestions.

I'll start with Blastoise. Blastoise is a fairly bulky Pokemon, and access to Rapid Spin makes him quite versatile. However you hit one of the problems with using Blastoise right on the head. It simply can not put out enough damage. For a replacement I suggest using Rotom-W, a similarly bulky water type with a fairly larger amount of perks, an immunity to Ground being one of them. It also hits harder than blastoise, while having access to Volt Switch, a great attack to gain momentum.

Speaking of momentum, lets move on to Scizor. Scizor is an incredibly fast pokemon, being quite useful due to its ability, Technician, which powers up its weaker moves. It also has access to priority in Bullet Punch, making it an adequate revenge killer in some instances. And the icing on the cake for Scizor is usually U-turn, which yours does not have. I strongly recommend replacing X-scissor with U-Turn, as it is a great way to gain momentum, starting a Volt-Turn loop, and keeping yourself one step ahead of your opponent. This , in conjunction with Rotoms Volt Switch, can deal large amounts of damage to your opponent while gaining, and maintaining offensive momentum at the same time.

Now presuming you replace Blastoise with Rotom-W, which I strongly suggest you do, it means you do not have any way to rid yourself of your opponents hazards. And hazards are one of the few sure fire ways to stop Volt-Turn from working.
So I suggest replacing Goodra with Excadrill, a great user of Rapid Spin and packing much more of a punch than Goodra. While it is not as bulky as Goodra, it can be useful in other ways by putting offensive pressure on your opponent as well as providing a great Check to one of the Pokemon that threaten your whole team, Rotom-W. And missing Goodra as a defensive pivot doesn't really matter because you have Rotom-W as an even better Pivot.

Your Infernape, Sableye, and M-Mawile sets are great as they are, and I advise against changing swords dance to protect like you were contemplating, as Mawile doesn't benefit from Protect at all, whereas Swords Dance is extremely beneficial for Mawile, turning it into a monster offensively, and allowing it to be a set up sweeper, and this is important because M-Mawile is the focus of your team.

But other than that, it is a great team and can be extremely dangerous with a few tweaks here and there, which is where these suggestions come in.
Hope this all helps!
