New to doubles, please rate

I have recently been venturing in the world of doubles, a metagame where everything is possible. With aid of trick room, I use a high risk strategy, with relitivly low risk due to the sturdiness of the members. So a quick RMT for the 2v2 lovers.

The Leads:

Togekiss @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Nature: Sassy

- Follow Me
- Encore / Safeguard
- Protect
- Air Slash

Part one of the solid Trick Room combo. I'm feeling Safeguard would be a nice addition to the team, stopping double sleeper leads. I don't think Air Slash will be all that useful so I'm tempted to just go for both Encore and Safeguard.

Bronzong @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Atk / 104 SDef
Nature: Relaxed

- Trick Room
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion

Such a reliable Trick Room user. And paired up with Togekiss a absolute terror. Being effectivly immune to Taunt or Fake out. I'm thinking I could just make this more offensive, as he won't be hanging around for too long once Trick Room is up. Also an other nice ground immune for Metagross.

Snorlax @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
Nature: Relaxed

- Substitute
- Belly Drum
- Return
- Fire Punch

Pretty easy to pull off in trick room. And hits so hard when it does. Fire Punch helps with enemy Bronzong and doesn't kill Metagross.

Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Nature: Brave

- Psych Up
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Bullet Punch

This tactic is rarely stopped somehow. Bullet Punch means I'm not screwed as soon as Trick Room ends. Meteor Mash > Explosion because blowing away +6 Atk seems a shame.

The above poster is right, Trick Room always goes last. I recommend using Bronzong, because he's much sturdier than Azelf. Also, he's not screwed by taunt at all. Most good Trick Room teams will use some kind of Follow Me or Fake Out Tactic to ensure Bronzong can set up trick Room. I like The Lickilicky/Metagross strategy, so keep that, but imo, even though Meteor Mash isn't perfectly accurate, you do not want to waste those atk boosts for an explosion. I would replace explosion with Meteor Mash. I used the same thing in the NY Showdown except Snorlax>Lickilicky, so the whole Belly Drum/Psych up thing works very well. The only thing about using Lickilicky>Snorlax, is that Metagross will be faster than Lickilicky in TR, which does suck in some instances, since you'll have to wait a turn to Psych Up the Belly Drum boost. I would also recommend taking out Gengar(He just doesn't belong in a 4v4 Trick Room team at all), and either replacing him with another slow sweeper, or a pokemon that could do very well as a lead, to help Bronzong/Azelf set up Trick Room.

Thanks for the replies.

Changing Azelf and Gengar to Bronzong and Togekiss. Painfully standard but I guess I'm a beginner so thats allowed ^^. Plus I allready have awesome ones. I guess you're right about Snorlax > Lickilicky. The main reason I went for Lickilicky is because of Explosion and Hammer Arm. Explosion was way too powerfull for Metagross to handle and I coulden't find room for Hammer Arm. Currently breeding Snorlax. Agreed on Meteor Mash > Explosion, blowing +6 away seems a shame. And with the loss of Gengar Meteor Mash just seems the better choice.

Actually, you can use Lickilicky>Lax. I forgot Lickilicky only had base 50 speed. You're also right when you said he's good at forcing opponents to protect so he can sub up. It still functions like a slightly weaker lax, but his surprise factor and the fact that he's not boring/standard like the rest of team is good.
