At A Distance
This is my first RMT in my return to Pokemon. I haven't really played competitively since shortly after the release of B/W. After playing the different tiers for a week or so I've seemed to get a jist of the current META. This being said i apologize for any mistakes in the information i may display in this RMT. After playing twenty or so games with this team, as well as making some adjustments along the way, this is what I've come up with. I would describe it as a Hyper-Offensive team with a twist. I did get to about 1300 points on the ladder, keep in mind i hadn't played Pokemon in almost 2 generations when i first made the team.

Victini @ Choice Band
Ability: Victory Star
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Zen Headbutt
- V-create
- U-turn
- Bolt Strike
Victini is my default lead. The STAB V-Create does
massive damage to anyone who it hits resisted or not.
U-turn to do damage to switch ins. pretty standard set.

Florges (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Toxic
- Protect
- Moonblast
Florges serves as my main tank. She walls many of myteam's weaknesses, provides the wish support, as well
toxic stalls. Another pretty standard set.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Earth Power
- Synthesis
- Leaf Storm
- Psychic
Celebi serves as sort of a bulky sweeper for my team.My team had a huge weakness to many water types, so
she helps to bully them around.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Sleep Talk
- Scald
- Rest
- Calm Mind
Such a classic Suicune set. Doesn't really need explanation.Serves as my primary Physical wall, Thus 252 EVs in Def.

Scrafty (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Stone Edge
- Drain Punch
- Crunch
Scrafty serves as another bulky sweeper. Moves set forcoverage, drain punch for sustain. Works pretty well for me.
Intimidate over moxie for the increased bulkiness, as well as
better opportunity for switch-ins

Nidoqueen @ Black Sludge
Ability: Poison Point
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 160 SDef
Impish Nature
- Dragon Tail
- Stealth Rock
- Power-Up Punch
- Earthquake
Nidoqueen is the black sheep of my team. She's there forthe SR, and the bulk. Dragon tail to rid the field of set up
sweepers. Very open to Swapping her out for a better
suited pokemon
For the most part I have pretty solid type coverage, as well as some super powerful sweepers. I just wanted to share my team with everyone in hopes of making improvements.
Thanks! I look forward to your input!!
Feel free to test the team as you see fit.
