This pesky sloth finds itself as one of NFE's most threatening bulky setup sweepers thanks to its solid bulk, Knock Off to force progress, and reliable recovery to allow it to set up multiple times in a game. Facade allows Vigoroth to still be a threat while being statused from Pokemon like Koffing, Tinkatuff, and Ivysaur. Dieses lästige Faultier ist eines des gefährlichsten Setup-Sweeper des NFE-Metagames, das Dank seines Bulks, der Möglichkeit sich selbst zu boosten, der Fähigkeit sich selbst zu heilen und dem Zugang zu Knock Off, sowohl Fortschritt erzwingen kann, als auch schwer zu besiegen ist. Dank Facade muss Vigoroth Status-Angriffe nicht fürchten. Als Alternative kann Body Slam genutzt werden, das es erlaubt gegnerische Status-Angriffe mit eigenen zu kontern und Einwechslungen zu bestrafen. Knock Off ist super effektiv gegen Geister-Typen wie Drakloak und schwächt Gegner wie Tinkatuff und Hisuian Sliggoo empfindlich. Da Vigoroth seinen Eviolite braucht um zu sweepen, sind Pokemon die Knock Offs absorbieren können hilfreich, Beispiele sind Tinkatuff, Quaxwell und Clefairy. Da selbst nach einem Bulk Up starke Kampf-Attacken von Gegnern wie Monferno und Pignite eine große Gefahr darstellen, sind Teamkameraden wie Quaxwell und Mareanie willkommmen. Zu guter Letzt helfen Entry Hazards, die z.B. von Frogadier gesetzt werden können, hilfreich um Tinkatuff und Naclstack, die in Vigoroth einwechseln können, niederzuringen.
