Nidoking (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 174 SAtk / 84 Spd
Naughty Nature
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Ice Beam
- Mega Horn
The wall-breaking nidoking. He has a convincing illusion of being a choice special sweeper since there is no life orb damage when using special moves. This allows me predict the switch in of a special wall and EQ it. It 1-2HKOS almost every special wall. The reason I chose nidoking is that sheer force makes him do unbelievable damage and his typing allows me to absorb toxic spikes, toxic, and thunderwave. He thus has no problem swtiching in to any wall that is not bulky water.

here is my motivation for this set. All credit goes to Yagami Light. The link has damage calcs of all 4th gen walls. Nido also OHKO ferrthorn every time and deals around 75% to reniculus.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 Atk / 232 SAtk / 36 Spd
Modest
- Recover
- Leaf Storm
- HP Fire
- Thunderwave.
Pretty self explanatory, standard tinkerbell set. It checks all the walls nidoking has trouble with (bulky waters) and cripples anything that would switch into it with thunderwave, making it easy pickings for nidoking. Nidoking's best partner by far.
Blastoise @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Impish
-Aqua Jet
-Ice Punch
-Rapid Spin
-Dragon Tail
This set is so good! There are times when he is the star of the team. He plays so many mind games with Heatrans. He Spins, he phases, he kills dragons and torrent makes a stabbed aqua jet so good. He's great at switching into politoeds and dragontailing when they switch out. Also, you can predict a rapid spin block and dragon tail it. Im thinking of changing ice punch but im not sure for what. Any ideas?
Skarmory @ Shed Shell
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 def / 4 SpD
Impish
-Roost
-Spikes
-Whirlwind
-Brave Bird
Best physical wall. He is just so relyable. Pretty standard. Hes a great partner for tyranitar because of typing. He does have a problem with tyrakeon. Its hard to swtich into it. Any suggestions?
Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Atk
Careful
-Stealth Rock
-Crunch
-Superpower
-Pursuit
This guy fulfills so many roles. Trapper, Weather Changer, Special Wall. Sandstorm changes annoying rain and sun and makes his SpD rediculus. He traps common special sweepers like Latios Alakazam and Gangar. Chopple Berry is used to survive Focus Blasts. Also pretty Self explanatory
Arcanine @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Indiminate
EVs. 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
-Flare Blitz
-Wild Charge
-Extremespeed
-Close Combat
Honestly this set is just a filler. My starting 5 have had trouble with a non-choiced genesect so I just put this guy in to solve it. Perhaps there is a better option, or a better set. Any suggestion? Also, im kind of agains gens 3 - 5 lol so try to suggest a filler from 1 -2. But if your adamant about something from 3-5 ill hear you out.
The team does fairly well. Its just genesect absolutely kills me and I need answers. Any other suggestions are very appreciated.
