[SET COMMENTS]
Flamethrower, in tandem with Earth Power, pressures Steel-type Pokemon; it notably wrecks Ferrothorn, a Pokemon that Poison generally struggles to break through. Furthermore, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt make for excellent coverage across the metagame; Ice Beam alleviates matchup pressure against Ground- and Flying-type teams, which contain hard-to-break Pokemon such as Hippowdon and defensive Gliscor. Thunderbolt helps combat Water and Flying teams, notably hitting foes like Tapu Fini and Mantine, allowing Nidoking to make progress. Stealth Rock can be used as an option over Thunderbolt to further increase pressure on the opposing team with entry hazards, as not many Poison-types can learn the move.

Amoonguss and Mega-Venusaur assist Nidoking by switching into revenge killers such as Excadrill and Landorus-Therian, status them with sleep and poison, and switch into the Water-type attacks aimed at Nidoking. Alolan Muk is able to combat Pokemon that easily pivot into Nidoking such as Slowking and Blissey while also providing an important Psychic immunity. Muk also appreciates Nidoking's presence, as Nidoking pressured Pokemon that Alolan Muk fails to beat such as Hippowdon and Celesteela. If Stealth Rock is used over Thunderbolt, Gengar and Nihilego are good teammates, as they can both utilize Electric- and Grass-type coverage to make up for Nidoking loses upon dropping Thunderbolt. Crobat, Toxapex, and Galarian Slowking make for exceptional teammates that all appreciate NIdoking's Electric immunity. Crobat is immune to Ground-type attacks and can revenge kill foes such as Mega Gallade, Keldeo and Greninja. Toxapex can pivot into the Water- and Ice-type attacks that force Nidoking out while providing Toxic Spikes support. Finally, Galarian Slowking provides Future Sight support, which makes Nidoking's offensive pressure even harder to handle. Future Sight allows Nidoking to even break Pokemon such as opposing Mega-Venusaur. Galarian Slowking can also switch into Nidoking revenge killers such as Keldeo or Tapu Lele.

Poison
--------
Nidoking can run Fire Blast over Flamethrower, as the extra Base Power lets it OHKO Melmetal and 2HKO specially defensive Celesteela, while dealing more chip damage to neutral targets. However, due to its lower PP count and worse accuracy, it is riskier than Flamethrower. Substitute is a neat option for Nidoking to ease prediction; however, it limits Nidoking's wallbreaking potential, as it takes the place of an important coverage slot.

==== Wallbreaker ====

[SET]
- Wallbreaker (Poison)
- 4 leftover EVs should go in Defense since it's Nidoking's higher defensive stat

[SET COMMENTS]
- Remove the Dragonite and Pelipper examples in the first sentence as you already mention various examples of Pokemon Nidoking defeats that are otherwise hard for Poison to do so otherwise along the paragraph
- Mention Flamethrower helps against Steels in tandem with Earth Power
- Defensive Lando-T usually runs speed to outrun Nidoking; replace it with Gliscor
- Thunderbolt is a more specific move; just say it slaaaaays damages annoyances like Mantine and Tapu Fini which allows Nidoking to make progress against Water and Flying teams better

- I think you can remove the first sentence of the second paragraph as you're already listing the good teammates later on
- Say Amoonguss (and Mega Venusaur, which is missing) are able to switch into Ground- and Water-type attacks aimed at Nidoking instead
- Mention Alolan Muk's Psychic immunity
- Add Crobat (ground immunity, revenge killer vs threats like keldeo/gren), Toxapex (sets tspikes, water/ice resist), and Galarian Slowking (fsight support) as teammates. For the first two, mention Nidoking's Electric immunity helping them.

==== OO ====

- Mention Fire Blast 2HKOes specially defensive Celesteela
- Toxic Spikes is run so that you can free a moveslot on Toxapex, but Nidoking usually benefits more from Thunderbolt or SR; change its description
- Add Substitute as an option to ease prediction, but say it limits Nidoking's wallbreaking potential due to the loss of coverage

[SET COMMENTS]
Nidoking provides Poison a reliable wallbreaker due to its potent movepool, and ability Sheer Force in tandem with Life Orb, which allows it to dismantle many Pokemon that Poison would otherwise struggle to beat. Flamethrower helps in tandem with Earth Power against Steel-type Pokemon, notably Ferrothorn, which is hard to defeat due to Poisons limited breaking potential against Steel-type Pokemon as a whole. Furthermore, Ice Beam in tandem with Thunderbolt make for excellent coverage across the metagame. Ice Beam alleviates matchup pressure against Ground- and Flying-type teams which contain hard to break Pokemon such as Hippowdon and defensive Gliscor respectively due to their natural resistances to Poison. Thunderbolt helps combat Water- and Flying type teams as well, notably hitting things like Tapu Fini and Mantine, which allows Nidoking to make more progress against those teams. Stealth Rock can be used as an option over Thunderbolt to further increase pressure on the opposing team with hazards, as not many Poison-type Pokemon can learn the move.

Amoonguss and Mega-Venusaur assist Nidoking by being able to switch-in against Pokemon that can easily revenge kill Nidoking such as Excadrill or Landorus-Therian, while also being able to status them with Sleep via Spore alongside switching into Water-type attacks aimed at Nidoking. Alolan-Muk is able to combat Pokemon that can also easily pivot into Nidoking such as Slowking and Blissey, while also providing a Psychic immunity for the team as a whole. Muk is also inadvertently helped by Nidoking's presence as Nidoking helps pressure Pokemon such as the aforementioned Hippowdon and Celesteela that Alolan-Muk would otherwise fail to beat. If Stealth Rock is used over Thunderbolt, Gengar and Nihilego are also sufficient teammates for Nidoking as they can both utilize Electric- and Grass-type coverage in order to cover the lack of Flying and Water counterplay Nidoking loses upon dropping Thunderbolt from its moveset. Crobat, Toxapex, and Slowking-Galar also make for exceptional teammates for Nidoking with their own strengths. Crobat provides a excellent Ground-immunity for Poison while also being able to revenge kill things that threaten Nidoking such as Mega Gallade, Keldeo, and Greninja. Toxapex provides another Water- and Ice-type pivot if Nidoking is being threatened off the field, while also providing Toxic Spikes support. Nidoking conversely also supports Crobat and Toxapex by providing them with an Electric immunity. would just move this line up to the top of the paragraph saying it provides the team with an electric immunity and blocks volt switch. Finally, Slowking-Galar provides Future Sight support which allows Nidokings offensive pressure to skyrocket and be able to break much easier than it would be able to without Future Sight support. give an example of something nidoking can break bz of future sight, also mention how glowkings ability to be a special wall helps nidoking

Nidoking can run Fire Blast over Flamethrower as the extra firepower you get can be used to OHKO and Melmetal, 2HKO specially defensive Celesteela, and provide stronger chip damage all around. However, due to its lower PP count and accuracy, it is riskier to use than Flamethrower is. Additionally, Toxic Spikes can be used over Thunderbolt and Stealth Rock however due to the potency of hazard-removal in the tier coupled alongside things like Heavy-Duty boots, they can be easily ignored. Toxic Spikes is also hindered by needing two layers of the move before it starts crippling a team more efficiently, while Thunderbolt and Stealth Rock applies more offensive pressure immediately. However, it does allow Toxapex to change a move slot if Toxic Spikes is ran on Nidoking. Finally, Substitute is a neat option for Nidoking to ease prediction, however it limits Nidoking's wallbreaking potential as you lose a coverage slot in support of Substitute.
