Nidoking

Overveiw
############
~ Can Quickly set up rocks to threaten new megas and old alike
~ Can hit most defoggers and rapid spinners for supereffective or good damage
~ Can reliably take hits and switch in again and again
~ Is quite powerful despite its mediocre stats
~ Has a wide move-pool which lets you customize your sets to what your team needs
~ Its wide move-pool can force switches or reveal unexpected moves to take out a key Pokemon.

Life Orb
##############

name: Life Orb
move 1: Stealth Rocks/Superpower
move 2: Sludge Wave
move 3: Earth Power
move 4: Ice Beam
ability: Sheer Force
item: Life Orb
evs: 252 SpA/252 Spe/4SpD(/4Atk)
nature: Timid/Naive

Moves
========

~ Stealth Rocks can be set up reliably again an again because of nidokings versatile movepool
~ Earth Power works well as a secondary stab which takes down empoleon and ampharos as well as a majority of others
~ Ice beam takes down defoggers and spinners alike donphan and crobat.
~ Sludge wave is a primary stab which does a TON of damage to anything it hits for neutral or more damage.
~ Superpower can take out blissy effectivly and as the EV's are special, it doesnt effect nidokings normal attacking moves

Set Details
=============

~ Max speed lets it outspeed Large threats such as Adamant Lucario, and Zygarde
~ Timid because it deals mostly supereffective damage and it needs as much speed as possible to fulfill its role
~ Full Special attack to deal as much damage as possible, no special attack or speed should be compensated
~ 4 special defense for those Pokemon like chandelure who can hit nidoking for insane damage still.
~ Life orb to give it that extra push with damage along with sheer force
~ It still has enough Bulk to live all unboosted moves by adamant Lucario, a chance to live a fire blast from scarf Chandelure, a 50% chance to OHKO a SubCoil Zygarde with ice beam

Usage Tips
===========

~ Go in at the start to hit any hazard setter/defogger hard and set up rocks, this will kill two birds with one stone
~ can late game sweep if used right as life orb and sheer force along with stab creates a deadly combo of x2.1.
~ can revenge kill if (yet again) used right as its speed isn't to be underestimated, especially when you have big offencive threats out like Lucario and Zygarde.

Team Options
=========

~ Pair with a taunter and ghost type like crobat and chandelure, this will let you block any hazard removals and still wall or hit relatively hard.
~Don't put a defogger on the team otherwise you will hurriedly try to put rocks up again and end up getting nidoking KO'd
~ AV donphan or blastoice work for hazard removal, not vital though.

Other Options
#########

~ Roar can be used over ice beam to phaze out.

Checks and counters
#############

Blissey ~ it has no moves that can do much, if anything at all to blissey and blissey always has the threat of setting up rocks
Revenge killers ~ They can either force a switch which normally result in sacking off a Pokemon or kill nidoking, either way, not good.
Fast Supereffective Damage ~ Pokemon like starmie and Alakazam and Zygarde all hurt. as nidoking is threatened by all levels.

PS: Thanks to Eyan from Competitive Tutoring for helping me out with this, and i'm open to as much criticism as possible! i want this to be the best it can be

You need to use this format for analyses:

Despite the format, it is still inaccurate :/
You don't need to mention its OU viability here, and it needs a lot of work.
yes, thank you allattack, Eyan has KO'ed me in PM in what is wrong =P i'm changing it right now

You mentioned that Superpower allows it to take down Blissey but then put in the description for Blissey in C&C that it can't do anything to it, 2 contradictory statements there. Flamethrower should be given a mention as it allows Nidoking to get past Bronzong which should be mentioned in C&C as it walls any King variant lacking said move. You mentioned wide movepool twice in the overview, completely unecessary. And it cant really come in on attacks repeatedly which is why people tend to use Nidoqueen over it.

not QC ofc and I know this is a WIP,but you could probably mention some downpoinats of nidoking (still okay speed but out sped by threats such as krooko or speed trying suicune, it has a lot of weaknesses, etc) Cuz it looks like its the perfect Pokémon now.

edit; your checks&counters is formatted wrong. for example, if you talk about blissey (hit by superpower, I agree with kreme here) it should look like this:

**Blissey**: description about blissey goes here.

you could check other analyses if this wasn't clear to you.

OK, so EVs should be laid out in the correct order SpA SpD Spe in this case. You are overstating Nidoking's bulk immensely saying it can switch in again and again. On the Life Orb set, mention Fire Blast to hit Bronzong like said before. In the Overview, you should mention it has a decent speed tier but can be outsped by a lot of threats. Imo a scarf set should be there as well, as that is another option for Nido
