yass queen

[OVERVIEW]

* Nidoqueen is a very powerful wallbreaker with Sheer Force + Life Orb boosted attacks.
* It has useful STAB types and coverage moves to hit most of the tier for good damage.
* Nidoqueen also has access to Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes to support teammates
* It sports decent bulk and defensive typing
* Unfortunately, its bulk, while decent, isn't amazing, and while its typing brings it some useful resistances to Fighting- and Fairy-type attacks and an immunity to Electric-type attacks, but leaves it weak to Water-, Ice-, and Ground-type attacks.
* It is also kind of slow and leaves it outsped by much of the metagame

Moves
========

* Stealth Rock deals chip damage to Pokemon switching in and can really rack up damage with the amount of switches Nidoqueen can force.
* Toxic Spikes are an option if you already have a Stealth Rock user and would like a way to put more pressure on bulky teams.
* Earth Power is a powerful Ground-type STAB move and hits anything that doesn't resist it for heavy damage.
* Sludge Wave is another powerful STAB move and hits most Pokemon that resist Earth Power for heavy damage.
* Ice Beam is the best all-around coverage move and hits Pokemon like Dragon-types and Ground-types harder than anything else.

Set Details
========

* 128 Speed EVs are enough to outspeed max Speed base 60s, primarily Primarina.
* 252 EVs are invested in Special Attack to hit as hard as possible with a Modest nature.
* The rest of the EVs are placed in HP for additional bulk.
* 168 Speed can be used to outspeed max Speed Scizor or 208 Speed to outspeed max Speed base 70s.
* Life Orb makes Nidoqueen's attacks much more powerful and has no recoil thanks to Sheer Force.

Usage Tips
========

* Nidoqueen is a good check to some prominent Pokemon like Clefable, Cobalion, Klefki, and Raikou, and can switch in fairly safely on them.
* Shouldn't be switched in as a hard counter as its bulk isn't incredible and the lack of Leftovers or recovery leaves it to be easily worn down.
* Set up entry hazards early in the match to get the greatest reward possible.

Team Options
========

* Describe some teammates that would be a good idea to pair with this Pokemon.

Other Options
=============

* List some options for the Pokemon user that are plausible but not always recommended due to either being not consistent enough or too outclassed by other Pokemon in the metagame.
