[OVERVIEW]

Ninetales serves as RU's premier sun setter due to its superb offensive utility in support of the weather-based attackers ran alongside it, usually consisting of Chlorophyll users like Venusaur and Hisuian Lilligant, as well as strong Fire-types like Entei and Armarouge. Additionally, its decent bulk and Speed allow it to consistently use its ability to set up sun multiple times throughout a match. Ninetales's weakness to Stealth Rock, caused by its inability to run Heavy-Duty Boots, is made up for through utility options in Encore, which discourages setup and recovery; Will-O-Wisp, which cripples physical attackers; and Healing Wish, which restores damaged sweepers and wallbreakers to a healthy state. While Ninetales provides assistance to its allies through sun, the opposite can also be true, as it gives a boost moves used by already threatening foes like Entei's Sacred Fire and Armarouge's Armor Cannon. The tier is no stranger to weather either, with all forms of it having some semblance of viability, which creates strife in Ninetales's job to keep up sun for the majority of a game.

Overheat and Scorching Sands shore up Ninetales's less-than-threatening offensive presence, though they come at the cost of consistent damage output and utility. Memento can be used over Healing Wish to give easier setup opportunities for teammates like Venusaur and Hisuian Lilligant, though this comes at the cost of the team's overall longevity. Tera Ghost can be ran over Grass to provide additional utility, giving it the properties of a spinblocker, as well as a Fighting-type immunity.

**Hippowdon & Other Opposing Weather Setters**: With Ninetales's main role being to set sun for its team, foes that have the ability to change the weather threaten it. Hippowdon is the most common of the weather setters in the tier with its Sand Stream ability, and it also threatens a super effective Earthquake as well as having the opportunity to set up Stealth Rock. Politoed's Drizzle and Alolan Ninetales's Snow Warning also change the sun Ninetales sets up into a different weather.

**Fire-types**: The likes of Volcanion, Armarouge, and Entei all have free entry on Ninetales, as they all take negligible damage from Flamethrower and Energy Ball; they are also immune to Will-O-Wisp and gain a boost to their STAB moves thanks to the sun.

**Dragon-types**: Cyclizar and Noivern are unthreatened by sun-boosted Flamethrower and can switch in to get free chip damage and momentum, only being pestered by Will-o-Wisp.

**Stealth Rock & Knock Off**: Stealth Rock's sizable chip damage can make Ninetales more vulnerable over the course of a game and hinder its role in setting up sun multiple times, decreasing sun's presence in the game. Similarly, having Ninetales be hit by a Knock Off will remove its Heat Rock, cutting down the turns that sun is active.

[OVERVIEW]

Ninetales serves the niche of being RU’s premier sun setter due to its superb offensive utility in support of the weather-based abusers ran alongside it. Additionally, its decent bulk and speed allow it to consistently use its ability to setup sun multiple times throughout a match, as well as disrupt with Encore and Healing Wish, helping to making up for its weakness to Stealth Rock due to its inability to run Heavy-Duty Boots. Ninetales, as the face of sun as a playstyle, promotes anti-offense compositions, using the sun it sets to amplify its teammate’s speed and power to break through teams that trade in defensive utility for heavier hitters. That isn’t to say that teams built around Ninetales’ support can’t take on more defensive playstyles, though the likes of Hippowdon, Cyclizar, and others certainly make it more difficult for them to succeed. IDT you need to say this part ngl, just reads as confusing. The introduction should talk about the positives and negatives of the Pokemon. I think discussing some of the downsides of Ninetales (you could add weakness to Stealth Rocks and Fire types there) would be good to flesh this out. The tier is no stranger to weather though, with all forms of it having some semblance of viability that creates strife in Ninetales’ job to keep up sun for the majority of a game.

Memento can be used over Healing Wish to give easier opportunities to setup for teammates like Venusaur and Lilligant-Hisui, though this comes at the cost of teams using it to have less longevity overall. Tera Ghost can be ran over Grass to provide additional utility, giving it the properties of a spinblocker, a Fighting-type immunity, and a neutrality to Stealth Rock.

I would add Overheat here, which gives Ninetales a powerful, non weather reliant, STAB attack, which comes at the cost of making Ninetales much weaker after it uses it.
Scorching Sands can be used in order to hit Fire-types such as Armarouge and Volcanion for decent damage.

**Hippowdon & Opposing Weather Setters**: With Ninetales’ main role being to set sun for its team, opponents that have the ability to change the weather threaten its role. Hippowdon is the most common of the weather setters in the tier with its Sand Stream ability, as well as threatening it with a super-effective Earthquake as well as having the opportunity to setup Stealth Rock. Politoed’s Drizzle, as well as Ninetales-Alola’s Snow Warning also change the sun Ninetales sets up into a different weather.

Dragon types such as Cyclizar and Noivern should be added here, as they can also annoy Ninetales and by extension, sun teams.

**Fire-Types**: The likes of Volcanion, Armarouge, and Entei all have free entry on Ninetales, as they all take negligible damage from Flamethrower and Energy Ball; they are also immune to Will-o-Wisp and gain a boost to their STABs thanks to the sun.

**Stealth Rock & Knock Off**: Ninetales takes sizable damage from Stealth Rock upon entry, which can make it more vulnerable over the course of a game, and hinder its role in setting up sun multiple times. In the same vein of decreasing the amount of turns that sun is active for, having Ninetales be hit by a Knock Off will remove its Heat Rock, cutting down the turns that sun is active from 8 to 5.

Good work, just a few things to add to the analysis. Implement so I can do a recheck.

Overheat and Scorching Sands can be run, which shore up Ninetales less than threatening Ninetales's less-than-threatening offensive presence, though it comes they come at the cost of consistent damage output and utility. Memento can be used over Healing Wish to give easier setup opportunities to setup for teammates like Venusaur and Lilligant-Hisui Hisuian Lilligant, though this comes at the cost of teams using it to have less the team's overall longevity overall. Tera Ghost can be ran over Grass to provide Ninetales additional utility, giving it the properties of a spinblocker, a Fighting-type immunity, and a neutrality to Stealth Rock. (Tera Grass also grants Ninetales this. Wouldn't this be redundant to mention as a pro over Tera Grass?)

**Hippowdon & Other Opposing Weather Setters**: (Since Hippowdon is a weather setter, you'd need to add "other" to "opposing weather setters" in the heading, which might make it too long. Is Hippowdon a significant enough threat to make it distinct in the heading?) With Ninetales’ Ninetales's main role being to set sun for its team, opponents foes that have the ability to change the weather threaten its role it. Hippowdon is the most common of the weather setters in the tier with its Sand Stream ability, as well as threatening it with a super-effective and it also threatens a super effective Earthquake as well as having the opportunity to setup set up Stealth Rock. **Dragon-types**: Cyclizar and Noivern are unthreatened by sun-boosted Flamethrowers (RC) Flamethrower and can switch in to get free chip damage and momentum, only being pestered by Will-O-Wisp.

**Stealth Rock & Knock Off**: Ninetales takes Stealth Rock's sizable chip damage from Stealth Rock upon entry, which can make it Ninetales more vulnerable over the course of a game (RC) and hinder its role in setting up sun multiple times, (RP, AC) In the same vein of decreasing decreasing sun's presence in the amount of turns that sun is active for game. (AP) (The original clause stated obvious info, so I reworded it to focus more on why and how Stealth Rock debilitates Ninetales at its role.) Similarly, having Ninetales be hit by a Knock Off will remove its Heat Rock, cutting down the turns that sun is active from 8 to 5. (The second sentence has both repetitive phrasing and dex info, so I reworded it to remove such.)

"speed" needs to be capitalized in this sentence from the overview.

Additionally, its decent bulk and Speed allow it to consistently use its ability to set up sun multiple times throughout a match.
