no fancy titles RMT OU

ok so this team started off pretty good but now its in a bit of a slump, a couple of the losses were due to very unlucky hax but it still needs
help

Changes Made In Bold

The Lead

Azelf@focus sash
Naive
252 spA 252 spe 4 atk
Explosion
Fire blast
Stealth Rock
Psychic

god this thing is standard but it works wonders. almost always gets off SR except against weavile and aero, weavile taunts, azelf fire blasts, weaviles sash activates, azelf still has his sash, point is, this can weaken weavile and put up SR later, SR is extremely valuable though and it adds up through switches, this usually doesnt explode right away but usually explodes on there late game sweeper, in like 6 games i fought with it, its exploded on 3 suicunes giving me the win, whether to keep this spread or run 200 atk 56 spA and 252 spe is unknown at this point.
Mid Game Denters and Supporters

These are the guys who come in mid-game to put some holes in my oppnents Defensive Core. They work pretty good together, both hurting or killing bulky waters and steels, and statusing anything who could prove trouble who might be hard to get past in the late game

Testing this so whatever I say it counters thats just on paper
Zapdos@Leftovers
Bold
Pressure
252 hp 220 def 36 spe
Discharge
Heatwave
Roost
HP ice

this is my Defensive tank and he counters and checks so many threats(on paper). Gyrados, Scizor, and salamence. HP ice over Grass because heatran has HP grass and swampert loves to come in on him as much as zapdos. Roost allows zapdos recovery and rids him of Ice/rock weakness, discharge is STAB and has a 30% chance of paralyzing those big hitters.

Heatran@LifeOrb
Naive
Flash Fire
252 spA 252 spd 4 atk
Fire Blast
Explosion
Earth Power
HP Grass

another reason for HP grass on heatran, swampert will wanna switch in on heatran to and than he gets destroyed by HP Grass along with other bulky waters, Fire Blast is for STAB and with Life Orb its just incredibly devastating, earth power hits fires, rocks, and just helps with coverage, Explosion is going over SR to kill Suicune who will use heatran as set up fodder, if cune survives than its at very low hp and can be revenge killed, its good mid-game to dent the opponents team so my 2 late game sweepers can come in with bulky waters and steels out of the way

Late Game Sweepers

My sweepers who come in when there counters are gone, they set up and just wreak havoc, once they set up its usually GG as long as they arent brought in to early

Scizor@Life Orb
Adamant
Technician
232hp 252 atk 24 def
Swords Dance
Roost
Brick Break
Bullet Punch

Well i wanted a bulky sweeper, this spot used to have SDluke but I found it way to hard in this offensive metagame to set him up, than I thought who would be lucarios best replacement and scizor was just obvious. I wanted this to be bulky so i put in a bulky ev spread. I dont know why I would want speed its got a frickn priority move, Brick Break is over superpower because it contradicts Swords Dance and this Scizor is supposed to be bulky which superpower also contradicts, its also not hard to get +6 with him so that power drop wont matter at all, it also breaks screens, roost goes great with something this bulky because he can keep setting up, there hasnt been a situation where I have wanted X-Scissir over roost

Salamence@Life Orb
Adamant
Intimidate
252 atk 252 spe 4hp
Outrage
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Dragon Dance

My favorite sweeper, this works best in late game but can really sweep at any time because even bulky steels take 50+% from LO DD outrage, once ive DD'd its good game, flamethrower over fire blast because with adamant nature fire blast still 2hkos skarm and flamethrower is more accurate and will OHKO scizor and forretres

The Glue
The one that keeps this team from being 6 individual pokes and lets them have synergy.

Bronzong@Light Clay
Relaxed
Levitate
252 Hp 152 atk 8 Def 96 spD
Explosion
Gyro Ball
Light Screen
Reflect

Not sure if this ev spread is outdated, I know the 8def is so it can survive a +2 fire fang from garchomp. Whatever. This is the glue for a couple of reasons. It has great typing and can take hits for the team. He is Flash Fire bait for heatran. Levitate is awesome. It counters mamoswine/weavile who could be trouble in certain circumstances. I have 2 late game sweepers who have to set up, one is weak to SR, screens allows them to take more hits and set up easier, also makes it easier for my Mid-game denters to do there job.

Threats

Salamence: Bronzong can come in on DD versions, screen making outrage a 3hko, and than hit with a superpowered gyroball, zapdos isnt let it do anything soon, zapdos can revenge kill any variant except jolly/naive ones with a DD under there belt, this makes it easier for brnozong

Gyrados: zapdos destroys it, only problem is gyrados is often saved for late game where zapdos may be gone or very weak, still, zapdos destroys and so does salamence with a DD,

Tyranitar: This is one reaso why scizor is here, he can revenge kill DD/scarf variants or use them as set up fodder, physical versions have trouble with Zong, i also have 3 steels who dont mind sandstream

SDluke: if its adamant or doesnt have stone edge/ice punch salamence can kill it, zapdos revenge kills it but takes a hefty amount from LO +2 extremespeed

Zapdos: If it has HPgrass than salamence and heatran can throw a party, if it has HP ice, heatran still will kill it with Fire Blast, it wont enjoy a 349 STAB thunderbolt

Heatran: Hp Iceless ones are just asking salamence to rape it, especially if screens are up making ones who have dragon pulse screwed for salamence, Choice ones are revenged by my own heatran, zapdos thunderbolt and hurts and he can u-turn out to get heatran a Flash Fire boost, if its leading gengar wins as long as its not scarfed(most arent) and focus blast hits, worst case scenario gengar destiny bonds

Suicune: a real bitch to handle, most come in on gengar though so he can kill them if sash is intact and destiny bond on it

Metagross: Bronzong laughs, so does zapdos, heatran kills it if it doesnt EQ

Its Ok. not the best of teams...
But you need to present it better, this looks very shabby and un appealing.

And exchange some bug type move over roost since you wont find the time to set up roost. Plus you need a Bug STAB.

why are you running adamant on salamence if you're running flamethrower? use naughty nature to ensure flamethrower doesn't lose its power.

Adressing your Suicune Weakness, I think that putting Explosion on Heatran will really help you here. Odds are on that they will try to set up on Heatran so a Swift Explosion to the face will hurt them, put this over Stealth Rock, and then put Stealth Rock on Bronzong, over Gyro Ball, Reflect or Light Screen, which ever you find the least useful. Dual Screen doesn't help you loads so it could probably go over Light Screen most easily.

I'd also consider Trick Scarf on Gengar simply because Hypnosis has become even more unreliable, if you're happy with the Hypnosis drop then by all means keep it, but Trick Scarf will screw over things coming in to wall you (such as Blissey), or it will at least force Suicide leads out, which will be especially uiseful if they try to Taunt you expecting Hypnosis. I think that way it will make for a useful and usable lead in the current climate.

Hidden Power Ice Zapdos ruins you pretty much, as Scarf Zapdos vs Normal Zapdos won't be a pretty situation for you (they will roost first turn and then make the appropriate switch). Now you can handle this with Outrage on Mence, and Two Explosions, so it's not the largest "threat" but exploding or sacrificing Salamence may not be exactly what you are looking for. What I reccomend is a change of Salamences set to this:

Salamence @ Leftovers
Adamant Nature / Intimidate
EVs: 152 HP / 12 Atk / 252 SpD / 92 Spe
~ Dragon Dance
~ Earthquake
~ Dragon Claw / Outrage
~ Roost

Now the only draw back I see of using this is a slight Issue with Skarm Bliss, but intelligant play with Heatran may help with this (Consider Expert Belt on Heatran to turn it into Blissey bait) So this will allow you to survive a Hidden Power Ice from Zapdos, Dragon Dance up and then Roost off any further Damage that it tries to do to you, alternating between Roost and Dragon Dance until you have +6 Attack and +6 Speed, against the less intelligant Zapdos users. Dragon Claw will allow ytou to keep attacking but Outrage might still be more desirable because of the jump in power, IMO that's a taste thing and your descision. This will also help with the slight Infernape weak you have (essentially relying on Zapdos to revenge kill it)

The rest looks pretty cool to be honest, Good Luck with your team and I hope that at least some of this advice helped >_< (If SD Luke becomes too much of a problem you can chuck a scarf on Heatran and change Zapdos to the standard defnsive spread (which set acts as a reasonable check to Gyarados as many don't DD first turn any more and Heatran/Bronzong could always explode on it)

Hmm, you're at a great disadvantage with two to three unreliable moves on Gengar, with Hypnosis at 60%, Focus Blast at 70% and Destiny Bond is easy to avoid.

Perhaps use the Trick Scarf set, or switch the set up a bit, however you may be fine with using those moves.

yeah i probably will change my gengar set, its good when it works but it is really inconsistent, but about dual screen bronzong, they help a lot so i actually do want to keep those screens, i may just change it to a suicide SR lead because heatran getting off SR is proving hard, and getting off SR could help a ton because gyra, salamence, and zapdos are all hindered, especially LO ones

as for heatran, naive nature, same ev spread and item, fire blast, earth power, HP grass, Explosion?

Hmm, that salamence set looks interesting, is that just a general ev spread or are those evs for something?

erazor, with naughty nature i have to use fire blast to OHKO skarm, with adamant and fire blast, skarm is still a 2hko, it also still OHKOs scizor whos bullet punch could be fatal to salamence as well as forretress who could explode rapid spin, i really hate the -spD on salamence, even with light screen it takes huge damage and than LO recoil, if more people confirm X-scissor>roost than ill run it

thanx for the comments so far

The EVs ensure that this Salamence will survive an unSTABed Hidden Power Ice from 359 Special Attack, such as from Timid Choice Scarf Gengar, or Ice Beam from 266 Special Attack with at least 10% health left, enough to launch a reprisal and not faint through Life Orb's recoil.

This is from Great Sage's revamp and explains all that you need to know in terms of defensive capability.

hhmm, ill be sure to test it but serebiis stat calculator says that with 92 spe and 31 spe IVs salamence gets a speed of 259, would it be viable to remove 20 of the evs into speed so he reaches 264 and outspeeds base 130s after a Dragon Dance?
also are those calculations with SR up?

edit: i changed gengar to SR azelf, zapdos to physical defense, heatran to naive and replaced SR with explosion and i went 5-0, explosion absolutely destroys things that wanna set up and sweep along with anything that could stop salamence and scizor

I would recommend running a naughty or lonely nature if you keep offensive DDMence. That way, Fire Blast 1hkoes Skarmory and you don't end up getting phazed. The issue with only 2hkoing Skarmory is that if rocks go up (and they will on a stall team with Skarm), you switch in taking 25% damage. Then you get phazed and have to switch in again, taking another 25% damage. Combine all this with possible sandstorm and taking hits to switch in, Salamence is going to be very weak by the time you start your sweep.

Im not sure about changing salamences nature, on a stall team skarm will likely come out earlier in the game to set up spikes where heatran and zapdos can take care of it, on a more standard team im not to worried about skarm because zapdos, heatran, and azelf all destroy skarm usually before salamence has been revealed, and flamethrower still will hurt it like crap, i havnt fought any skarms so i cant say this from experience

@Upa- Roost stays, ive fought a couple of hippowdons with scizor and roost allows him to get +6 easy, with x-scissor I would have only gotten +2, he very bulky too

but what if you find salamence facing bronzong? battles don't always play out the way you would like. in this case, flamethrower is your only option, and would you want to use a weaker flamethrower on bronzong?( unless you already got of 6 dragon dances, in which case you should outrage in his face)

btw, i may be wrong , but the special attacks salamence takes are usually called "ice beam", so the nature drop isnt significant.

i have a couple options agaist bronzong

-if salamence has DDd i can use Outrage, LO DD outrage does over 50% so thats an option if its weakened

-Switch to zapdos and beat it eventually with heat wave or heatran can do it with fire blast as long as its not gonna EQ

-it cant do anything to scizor so keep alternating between roost and SD until im at +6 and than brick break OHKOs it
