ORAS OU No More EQ

Earthquake is a very strong move. One of the strongest in the game being super effective to some of the best types on the game (steel, electric and fire). Only being resisted by a few of the worst types in the game (grass, bug and flying). Because of this most teams run 1-3 pokemon with the move. The idea behind this team is to disable the opponent from using that move. This will allow my team to use strong fire/electric/steel type pokemon.

The team:
Gliscor
Catman (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 248 HP / 188 Def / 72 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Toxic
- Taunt

the original mon I wanted to have on the team since I use lando-t on almost every team I make. The ground/flying typing is disturbingly broken and it works even better on this team since the point of the team is to combo flying/grass/bug and fire/steel/electric type. Gliscor is my stall/wall pokemon.

weakness: water, ice

Megazard-X
EQ M3 M8 (Charizard-Mega-X) (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Roost

A great pair for gliscor. normally I would like to choose a pair who can defend each other, but in this case gliscor does most of the defending. Zard-x doesn't resist ice like gliscor would want, but he also isn't weak to water which is very good when dealing with water pokemon who almost always beat out gliscor. Zard-x is meant to put holes in enemy teams and can take even out annoying mons like Manaphy if played right.

weakness: fairy, ground, rock, dragon

Scizor/Heatran
Randy (Scizor) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 244 HP / 12 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Roost

Randy (Heatran) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon

Seeing how Zard-x is not fully covered by gliscor and gliscor is not fully covered by Zard-x I decided to put in scizor to help against mons like Diance, Tyranitar, Azumaril, Clefable, Weevile, Garchomp, Kyurem. This Scizor is oddly defensive with swords dance and u-turn. I will consider switching it to offensive with superpower. Zard-x also works well to cover Scizors fire/ferrothorn weakness.

weakness: fire/water, ground, fighting

Rotom-W/Gengar
Raaandy (Rotom-Wash) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hydro Pump
- Trick

Raaaandy (Gengar) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp

A tricky set used to cripple stall/enemy sweepers allowing my own Zard-x to set up. Rotom-W is a good edition to the team because his typing resists water, ice, fire and he can bait out a EQ from excadrill giving me a free switch into something that resists. Rotom's other weakness, grass is heavily resisted by both Zard-x and Scizor.

weakness: grass/megalo, excadrill, ghost, dark, phsychic

Togekiss
Ya Gal (Togekiss) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave
- Roost
- Air Slash
- Defog

Although Zard-x is more of a suicide sweep it can still be a very good end game sweeper and it does much better suiciding if it can take a hit. I added Togekiss to remove hazards that hurt all forms of Zard and to cripple enemy sweepers with t-wave. Togekiss is also amazing against Garchomp and other fairy common dragon types.

weakness: ice, electric, steel, poison

Kyurem-Black
Aw Shiiii (Kyurem-Black) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Outrage
- Fusion Bolt
- Iron Head
- Ice Beam

My payback pokemon/cleanup sweeper. With 170 base attack he is capable of even defeating certain steel-type mons. He is scarfed and ready to 1v1 the world.

weakness: fairy, rock, dragon, fighting
