No u-turns

Rag

"aaaaaaaahhhh!"
Hey guys. This is my revamped U-Turn team. My old team included Wobbuffet, but since it most likely will be Über again I needed some changes.

Levitate
Relaxed 252hp/252def/4sdef
- Yawn
- Stealth Rock
- Thunderbolt
- U-Turn
@Leftovers

Description:
Uxie is definitely one of my favorite Pokémon. It's a pretty viable lead, laying Stealth Rock and forcing a lot of switches with Yawn.

Key Resistances:
Fighting, Ground

dpmba251.png
Natural Cure
Relaxed 252hp/252def/4spd
0 Speed IVs
- U-Turn
- Perish Song
- Recover
- Leech Seed / Grass Knot
@Leftovers

Description:
Celebi acts like my physical wall, and has some awesome moves. It's able to lure out a lot of Pokés either Dugtrio or Magnezone can take care of.

Key Resistances:
Ground, Fighting, Water, Electric

dpmba385.png
Serene Grace
Sassy 252hp/216spd/40def
- U-Turn
- Wish
- Psychic
- Light Screen
@Leftovers

Description:
Jirachi provide some useful resistances and support to the team, and acts like my Sp.Wall. Its able to lure out Heatran and Skarmory, which makes Jirachi a pretty valuable teammate.

Key Resistances:
Rock, Psychic, Ice, Dragon

dpmba145.png
Pressure
Sassy 252hp/80atk/176def
- U-Turn
- Thundetbolt
- Roost
- Hidden Power Grass/Thunder Wave/Sleep Talk
@Leftovers

Description:
Zapdos is a pretty decent Infernape and Lucario switch in, maybe even Mamoswine in a pinch, and got a pretty sturdy U-Turn. I got some problems with the move selection, though.

Key Resistances:
Fighting, Ground, Bug, Steel, FLying

dpmba462.png
Magnet Pull
Modest 88hp/116def/216spa/88spe
- Magnet Rise
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
@Shed Shell

Description:
Magnezone trap Steel Pokémon, Shed Shell to prevent me being trapped by other Maggys, which I've been suprisingly often.
The EVs let me outspeed Skarmory without Speed EVs, and the Defence is maxed.

EV-spread:
The EV-spread let me outspeed no-speed Skarmory, hit the last extra EV point in Special Attack and the rest is basically to max my Defence (88hp/116 > 204 def > 204 hp).

Key Resistances:
Rock, Ghost, Electric, Steel, Flying, Normal, Dragon and Ice

dpmba051.png
Arena Trap
Adamant 252atk/232spe/24spd
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Stone Edge
- Protect
@Choice Scarf

Description:
I really, really like Scarftrio. It takes care of even Scartran and Cross, which is cool.
Dugtrio got to be Uxie's alter ego; Yawn --> U-Turn --> Dugtrio let me catch a lot of Pokémon off guard.
Dugtrio is my only way to get rid of Heatran, and that's basically why I use 2 or 3 Pokémon to lure it out.
Protect may seem like a joke, but it let Dugtrio recieve a Perish Song from Celebi.

EV-spread:
EVs to outspeed Jolly Scarfchomp.

Key Resistances:
Electric

Sorry for my obvious comments. Please rate! :)

edit: Future changes:
Infernape (CB, LO)
Maybe a Scizor?

You have a huge weakness to a Pokemon, and Im somewhat surprised the team functioned with Wobb because the weakness is still as big. I am talking about Weavile who you have a HUGE weakness to.

  • Night Slash
  • Swords Dance
  • Brick Break
  • Ice Shard
It pretty much ohkos everything on your team except Jirachi after 1 SD. and Jirachi is 2hkoed by SD Night Slash anyway.

I think a good Choice Band Infernape as lead would actually help more. Jirachi can Stealth Rock anyway. Infernape still gets U-Turn but also receives Mach Punch, Flare Blitz, Fire Punch, Close Combat, Earthquake, ThunderPunch, and Stone Edge to use. He easily counters Weavile and would be the perfect addition to a U-Turn team.

Weavile got few oppertunities to switch in, and U-Turn hit it Super Effective, and it even takes Super Effective damage from Stealth Rock. Zapdos CAN take a Life Orb Sword Dance Ice Shard from Weavile like 25% of the time, and Jirachi is generally a safe bet.
You definitely have a good point, though. Weavile can screw over 4 or 5 of my Pokémon, and I like the idea of using Infernape. :) I'll definitely try him out.

I was going to ask why the team is so slow, but I assume that it is to ensure you take a hit before you u-turn to your trapper?

Concerning Weavile Ice Shard on Zapdos, I am fairly certain Zapdos won't survive a Life Orb Swords Dance Ice Shard from Weavile. My computer is slow so I can't provide calcs but can someone ensure this or prove that Zapdos will survive with his given EV spread?

Personally I'd be more worried about the weakness to Tyrannitar than any Weaville weakness. I mean sure Dugtrio sort of works against it but thats a shaky move at best given how fragile it is and T-Tar's tedency to Sub. Also I can't actually imagine U-Turn doing that much to T-tar even if it is super effective due to that high HP/def count.

I'd actually be somewhat tempted to say use Flash Cannon over HP Ice on Magnezone since you could Magnet Rise and hit it for Super Effective.

@Kinglerdude: Zapdos with my given spread has a 25% chance of surviving a Life Orb Sword Dance Ice Shard. It's not much of a counter. I just had to point it out, incase my Jirachi for some reason was dead.
And yeah, that's basically why my team is that slow. With the exception of Uxie, all have recovery moves, so I really don't mind them taking hits. ^^

@Foresty: I know for a fact that I need 253 Atk to break a Boahs Substitute (100% that is), and both Jirachi and Celebi got a pretty good chance of breaking the Sub. :)
But you're absolutely right. I can't really hurt Tyranitar. I lack a hard hitter. :/ That's an even better reason to use Infernape in my team. :P Thanks.

Edit:
<_> I got a MAJOR LO-Gar weakness. Maybe I should replace Celebi with the trapper Scizor?
