Nona Soldiers (RMT).

Firts of all, Hello everyone! I'm new here. The first thing I will do is show one of my hirst and must succesfull teams in RU tier, so... let's starts (if anyone ask, yes, my language isn't english, I'm from Spain).

Team Building.

1. One day, my body asked me to create an agresive team with Galvantula, so, I started with her.

Galvantula is a fasty bastard with a beatifull special attack stat. I want her because her type (is a girl, don't you know?), her coverage and obviosly, because is a beatifull super saiyan spider and everyone loves spiders, don't we?

2. Galvantula has a little problem with stealth rocks, so i needed Spinners, of course, I looked into Cryogonal, Sandlash and Kabutops. The first one, Nop because his weakness with fire, the second one, Nop, because it dosen't resist it, so, Kabutops was the chosen one.

3. Right here, I was looking for a solid Hazard and for a Glue. I killed two birds with one shot with two Pokemons with good synergy: Uxie and Klinklang. The first one levitate, something good for Kabutops and Kinklang and the second one resist all Uxie weakness. Indeed, Klinklang is a good offensive pokemon.

4. Finally, I decided to use the Red-Blue-Green combination in my team, so I started looking for a offensive grass pokemon and a offensive fire pokemon. The grass one was easy, but the red, I thought it will be easier.

The offensive grass pokemon was easy, Sceptile with good special attack and better speed, fits into my team with easy.

Then, Entei, i didn't like it, i hate classic, and he's an old classic furthermore, why only adamant nature? Fuckynig events!

Moltres was the next I discard, why you ask? Is a good question, the bird fixed very well in my team under a Uxie's rain, so... why? The answer is, to old classic, and more Stealth rock damage so, nop.

Emboar, in the other hand, had my heart gained when I played in NU, so i chose the fire bear. In fact, emboar also resist bug type and doesn't fear the rocks.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

One by one.

LEAD.
Uxie [Bobobo] (Hazard).
Uxie_NB.gif

Item: Leftovers.
Ability: Levitate.
Nature: Bold (+Def // -At).
Ev's: 252 PS // 152 Def // 104 Vel. ----> 252 PS // 60 Def // 196 Spe.

Stealth Rock.
Psychic.
Thunder Wave.
U-turn.

Uxie is one of my two posible leads, He sets Hazards and then, U-turn or, if you can survive, Thunder Wave. I prefer Uxie before Smeargle because I like to have a pokemon to use when my pokemon is in trouble, for example, a Omastar in rage, Druddigon using outrage.... and is my counter to fighting pokemon.

<Changes>: It works! Yes, i had problems with smeargle leads, and the change on the Ev's fixed it, now, my Uxie can outspeed Smeargle and break his annoying Sash.

THE SPINNER.
Kabutops [Kiki] (Offensive Rapid Spin).
Kabutops_NB.gif

Item: Life Orb ----> Lum Berry.
Ability: Weak Armor.
Nature: Adamant (+At // -SpA).
Ev's: 252 At // 252 Spe // 4 PS.

Rapid Spin.
Stone Edge.
Aqua Jet.
Sword Dance.

I love this pokemon, is the only spinner in Ru who can kill with easy the Spinblockers. When I used him for Spinn and the other have a ghost type in their team, I used to set up a SD and the slash him with a irritating and blind Stone Edge, then Spin. Is very usefull to revenge kill moltres because his priority attack.

Is Galvantula husband because his 1/4 resistance to fire attacks.

<Changes>: it's incredible how an item makes the diferent into two strikes to four strikes. Now, my Kabutops doesn't fear now Dusclops or Qwilfish's Will of Wisp and Toxic, in order to set up a SD and being able to 2HKO them.

THE SPECIAL ONE.
Sceptile [Rango] (Special Attacker).
Sceptile_NB_variocolor.gif

Item: Life Orb.
Ability: Overgrow.
Nature: Timid (+Spe // -At).
Ev's: 252 SpA // 252 Spe // 4 Def.

Giga Drain.
HP Rock.
"Focus" Blast.
Substitute.

This friend comes when Kiki is in danger, allow him to stay back under a substitute and attack. Is my conter to Life Orb Galvantula because he can turn on a Substitute until his life will be in red, then with a Giga Drain i kill it. Too easy.

The last two attacks, well, Fire and steel types, Fuck you Steelix, Agroon, Moltres...

THE PHYSICAL ONE.
Emboar [TheBearJew] (Choice Scarf).
Emboar_N2B2.gif

Item: Choice Scarf.
Ability: Blaze.
Nature: Jolly (+Spe // -SpA).
Ev's: 252 At // 252 Spe // 4 Def.

Flare Blitz.
Super Power.
Wild Charge.
Head Smash. ----> Sleep Talk.

I use Scarf before band or life orb because speed, i prefer a speed Emboar than a slow and easy killing Emboar, moreover his strength. The last attack is there in order to kill Sigiliph with easy, because with wild charge you will never 0HKO it until the hax blessed critic.

He comes when Sceptile or Kabutops is in danger, Gavantula and Klang too, so is a very preciated pokemon on my team.

<Changes>: Thanks to Col49 now my team is able to kill smeargle in early game, it's simple, Uxie U-turn emboar and being asleep by Smeargle Spore, then, with Sleep Talk is dead with one of three attacks. I like it.

THE SPIRIT HUNTER.
Klinklang [Clank] (Shift Gear).
Klinklang_NB.gif

Item: Leftovers.
Ability: Clear Body.
Nature: Adamant.
Ev's: 100 PS // 252 At // 156 Spe.

Shift Gear.
Gear Grind.
Substitute.
Return.

This is the one who I chose to fight Ghost, Psychic, Dark, Grass, Bug... Pokemon in order to stay back under the substitute and increase my stats with SG. Then I attack with good results, sweeping a lot of damage from the enemy. Also i love this pokemon because he can kill pokemon under the subs so, no one is safe, and if is it, Emboar.

THE GOLD SAIYAN SLAYER.
Galvantula [Nona] (All-Out Attacker).
Galvantula_NB_variocolor.gif

Item: Life Orb.
Ability: Compoundeyes.
Nature: Timid (+Spe // -At).
Ev's: 252 SpA // 252 Spe // 4 SpD.

Thunder.
Bug Buzz.
HP Ground.
Giga Drain.

If I see a probably bug, ghost, Dark, Steel, or Grass lead pokemon in the preview, she lead, if not, Uxie and she stays back until the late game, because she is my late game sweeper. No more things to say, when my RBG combination ends of sweeping, she go out of her web and eats all weaked pokemon in the arena. Powerfull, beatifull, faster, she has everything.

Well, this is one of my RU teams, probably the most succesfull in the agresive line. See ya guys, nice to meet Smogon.

Hey Bertshadow, welcome to Smogon ^_^ I'm a pretty big fan of Galvantula myself, so props of making a solid team with it. While this team is fairly "standard" of a BW2 Offense team ("Lead" / FWG Core / Sweeper / Fill), there are a couple nitpicks I think would make a positive impact on the team as a whole.

First and fore-most, despite possessing Kabutops I notice an issue regarding opposing Spike-Stacking teams. My rational behind this is that while you do possess a strong spinner, you have no solidified response to Smeargle, who can easily put a 'mon to sleep and / or set up SR+1 Spike unless it fails to recognize Sub Sceptile or something along those lines. Moreover, a fair sum of your 'mons get exploited by common Spikers (Roselia to Sceptile+Galvy, [Haze / Taunt] Qwilfish to Emboar+Klinklang, etc.), and while Kabutops is almost always ensured a spin, the chip damage it receives in doing so limits it to one, maybe two spins per game. In order to mitigate this issue somewhat I would seriously consider the use of Lum Berry over Life Orb. The loss in damage output is somewhat painful at times, but it really helps ensure that Kabutops can spin more leniently against defensively inclined teams, and end the end it really opens up more opportunities to sweep late-game (especially with Qwilfish on the rise again :> ).

Now, on to the case of Smeargle. As mentioned, your team seems to be put in a really awkward position by Smeargle, or any sleep inducer for that manner, as they really put a damper on your momentum, and in the case of Smeargle leads to hazards racking up on your field and putting you at a disadvantage against other such offensively inclined teams. To remedy this I recommend two things: bumping up your Uxie's Speed investment to 192 EVs, and opting out for Sleep Talk over Head Smash on Emboar. By making these changes you are assured a method of combating Smeargle (having Uxie U-Turn out to Emboar and KOing in the proceeding turn) as well as most common Sleep inducers. Head Smash is rarely helpful outside the ability to critically damage opposing Fire-types, though with SR down most aren't comfortably taking Superpowers (or Wild Charges in Moltres' case). While Uxie does lose a bit of bulk in this process, the extra Speed does help it in other ways, including the ability to outpace and pick off opposing Kabutops if Sceptile is down or weakened.

I hope my suggestions were of use to you, good luck in the future :)
