Noob meh Team (RMT)

Really, I don't like this team. The first four pokes are solid I think. Heatran and Gengar feel too much like "fillers" and don't give much synergy to the team. Really I think this team is poorly constructed and I'm just looking for some quick input before I move on in steps to making a final main team. I'm still a newbie to this so forgive me

Swampert @ Leftovers “Retarded”
Impish Nature *240 HP, 56 ATK, 212 DEF*
-Earthquake
-Ice Beam/Snowslide
-Stone Edge
-Stealth Rock

I know, I know, everybody and their brother is starting with this guy and I might change it if Gar becomes too popular. Ice Beam or Snowslide? I’m thinking Ice Beam.

Weavile @ Choice Band “Vendetta”
Pressure
Jolly (-SA +Spd)
6 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd
-Pursuit
-Ice Punch
-Blade Test
-Brick Break

W00t for revenge killage with CB’d STAB’d Pursuit! And the sexy speed is nice. Oh it can use its other moves too for Dragons, Bliss, and others. Cleans up mess in the end.

Blissey @ Leftovers “Wh0re”
Bold Nature
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 212HP, 252Def, 44SpAtk
-Calm Mind
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Softboiled

Well it’s CM bliss, need I explain more? Does this counter Raikou or not? I doubt he’ll be popular on WiFi anyway though.

Gliscor @ Leftovers “18 in. 4 U”
Hyper Cutter
Impish (-SA +Def)
252 HP, 6 Atk, 252 Def
-Aerial Ace
-Knock Off/Ice Fang
-Earthquake
-Feather Rest

Just look at this things sprite… It’s huge (hence the nickname). Walls Cross, TTar, and others. Knock off is fun. Ice Fang handles Dragons, mostly Garchomp. Do I have enough attack for the 2HKOS on Cross and some of the other major threats?

dpmfb485.png

Heatran @ Choice Scarf “Teh Phire”
Flash Fire
Timid (-Atk +Spd)
50 HP, 252 SA, 208 Spd
-Flamethrower
-Dragon Pulse
-Explosion
-Land Power

Azelf counter I think. Hits a lot of things hard. Can boom on Bliss to help Gengar out. Oh yeah, he’s next.

dpmfb094.png

Gengar @ Black Sludge “Psycho”
Levitate
Timid (-Atk,+Spd)
252 SA, 252 Spd, 4 HP
- Hypnosis
- Will-o-Wisp
- Energy Ball
- Thunderbolt/Shadow Ball
Eh Gengar. Fills some holes and is a nice poke anyway. Adds some Status support. It’s really just supposed to handle Swampert cuz otherwise I have trouble with him. Last move is up for grabs. Thunderbolt is always a cool move. Shadow Ball for cleanup STAB.

Celebi- Swampert, Weavile

Manaphy- Blissey

Heatran and Gengar actually work quite well together since Gengar is immune to Fighting and Ground and has Thunderbolt and Energy Ball to take on Water types.

Swampert isn't a Garchomp counter. He requires excessive amounts of Special Attack to OHKO with Ice Beam and can only OHKO with Avalanche if Garchomp attacks. Sending Swampert into Garchomp could go like this :

Garchomp used Swords Dance.
Swampert switched in.
Garchomp used Swords Dance.
Swampert used Avalanche or Ice Beam, Garchomp survived.
Garchomp used Earthquake.
Swampert fainted.

Swampert is in no way a counter for Celebi, it's actually the other way around.

i know it's standards. sorry, I want to get used to competetive battling before I start mixing it up with some different pokes.
