XY LC Noob Team, possible improvements?

Tirtouga @ Eviolite
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 5
EVs: 84 HP / 252 Def / 16 SpA / 156 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 30 HP / 30 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Ice Beam
- Scald

Stealth rock is Tirtouga's first and foremost mission, hence Sturdy, but once that's taken care of it has Knock Off for extra utility, ice beam to cover 4x Grass weakness, and Scald for STAB. There's probably some way to fit a Fighting counter in the movement, but I don't know where.

Spritzee @ Eviolite
Ability: Aroma Veil
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 84 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 80 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Gentle Nature
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy
- Return
- Toxic

Spritzee is a counter for the extremely common Fighting types found on basically every team in the metagame, packing Moonblast as it's main move. It also has Aromatherapy in case of status, Toxic to inflict status, and Return as filler basically. It's whole set was pretty much stolen from the strategy dex so I don't know if it could be that bad.

Drilbur @ Life Orb
Ability: Mold Breaker
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 36 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 36 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Poison Jab
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Driller honestly doesn't see much regular use in my battles, but it's supposed to be the best RS around, so there's that. Poison Jab for Grass types, Rock Slide for Flying, EQ for STAB, with a Life Orb for extra oomph to its attacks. Pretty standard set.

Darumaka @ Eviolite
Ability: Inner Focus
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 36 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Rock Slide
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Superpower

Darumaka is my physical offense Pokemon and covers Drilbur and Tirtouga's Grass weakness. It has HP grass to mess with the Water, Ground and Rock types that could try to switch in to it, Flare Blitz for mega STAB, Superpower for the Rocks, and Rock Slide for extra coverage and a possible Fletchling sweep counter with it's Eviolite, but I haven't seen it happen yet.

Chinchou @ Eviolite
Ability: Volt Absorb
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 100 Def / 36 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Discharge
- Scald

Chinchou is the special side of my offense and mainly counters Water types. It runs ResTalk a long with Discharge and Scald for STABing opponents with once again Eviolite to add bulk. Man, that item is common.

Doom Buggy (Fletchling)
Ability: Gale Wings
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 100 Def / 36 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Acrobatics
- Swords Dance
- U-turn
- Roost

OKAY LAST ONE. Fletchling is my sweeper if you couldn't guess, with Acrobatics as it's main weapon. A single Swords Dance for setting up, and U-turn+Roost if it gets too injured.

I want to know if I can improve any movements, stats, anything, and do you think I should dump Drilbur for something that will find more use?

First of all,hi,I was see some LC RMT and i found you

Spritzee @ Eviolite
Ability: Aroma Veil
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 84 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 80 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Gentle Nature
- Moonblast
- Aromatherapy
- Return
- Toxic

I can tell you,WISH OVER RETURN,spritzee need wish, everytime,I also can tell you calm mind over toxic

Darumaka @ Eviolite
Ability: Inner Focus
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 100 Atk / 100 Def / 36 SpA / 88 SpD / 56 Spe
Lonely Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Rock Slide
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Superpower

Hp grass and bulky Darumaka?I know you are noob, but I think this is enough

darumaka have 15 base SpA,eviolite drilbur don't take a shit from him
,also you get walled by tirtouga anyways cause sturdy, soo change Hp grass with u turn

also Scarf of life orb over eviolite,I see you use it sweeper, soo why Eviolite?
also Hustle over inner focus
man, inner focus sucks anyway,I know LC got a lot of fakeouters, but it sucks anyways,if you want do a sweeper use hustle

after this, all ok,the other members is solid
you made me an idea with special tirtouga for a new team...

bye

Hi there PlatinumWarrior! You have a very nice team here, however you seem to be running some suboptimal sets and mons. Hopefully I can help you make this team even better n_n.

Starting with Tirtouga, your set is looking good, but the IVS and moves could use a little bit of tweaking. You should be running Stone Edge over Ice Beam. Ice Beam really isn't providing any good coverage, since this is a defensive mon, and Stone Edge is a second STAB that hits stuff hard in general. Also why are your IVS all set to 30? That's unnecessary, so make them all 31.

Spritzee looks like it's acting as your cleric currently, and with some updates will be an incredible help to your team.
It should be running a spread of 212 HP / 196 Def / 12 SpA / 76 SpD / 12 Spe Bold Nature. Also, Toxic should be Protect, and Return should be Wish. These changes allow Spritzee to support your team with impressive utility.

Drilbur's moveset is perfect for your team, but should have a spread of 36 HP / 236 Atk / 212 Spe Jolly Nature. This maximizes Drilbur's speed and attack, meaning it's fantastic at wallbreaking for Fletchling. Also, I recommend a Eviolite over Life Orb, since you aren't running Swords Dance.

Unfortunately, Darumaka just isn't that great. Instead, I recommend switching it put for a Bulky Mienfoo. This way, your teams packs a strong fighting type. Mienfoo also forms a VoltTurn with Chinchou, adding more utility. (The set will be at the end of this rate to save room.)

RestTalk Chou is a great set, although I feel it can be switch out for a Berry Juice Bulky Attacker Set, since you have Tirtouga, who pretty much hard counters Fletch. (Again the set will be at the end)

Finally, your Fletchling set look again, but an EV spread of 156 HP / 196 Atk / 92 Def / 52 SpD Adamant Nature is what you should be using, since it maximizes Attack while giving Fletch more bulk.

Hopefully these changes help . If you have any more questions, feel free to VM and I'll do my best to help you out ^_^.
Good Luck!

Hi PlatinumWarrior and welcome to Little Cup! This is a decent team, you did a great job building it but it still has some rooms for improvement. (By the way please expand your descriptions just a little bit)

First of all I suggest reading this guide about LC if you're new to it, it'll give you some knowledge about the meta, also you can check the Smogon dex for the most viable movesets (including EVs) if you're not sure what to run. And if you've go any question about the meta feel free to ask in this thread.

I do agree with SamuCapiscoh, use Wish and Protect over Return and Toxic, this allows you to heal Spritzee and improve its longevity while also passing wishes to its teammates and heal them. Also, use a spread of 212 HP / 196 Def / 12 SpA / 76 SpD / 12 Spe with a Bold nature.

On Tirtouga I suggest running Rock Slide (or Stone Edge if the low accuracy doesn't bother you) over Ice Beam, the latter doesn't hit much but Rock Slide is a solid STAB move that allows you to deal with Fletchling and it can hurt most of the meta with it. Also, I don't really know why you're using 30 IVs it's meaningless, so yeah make them all 31.

On Drilbur use a spread of 236 Atk / 36 Def / 212 Spe with a Jolly nature and an Eviolite, this spread maximizes Drilbur's Speed allowing it to hit 17 in it outspeeding most of the meta and boosts its Attack, the Eviolite allows it to boost its Defenses and live plenty of hits it won't be able to live with a Life Orb not to mention the EV spread I gave hits harder than the one you're currently having even with a Life Orb attached.

To keep your team consisting a solid FWG core I'll suggest using Bulky Ponyta over Darumaka, to be honest Darumaka is pretty unreliable because of Hustle and it's overall lame in the current meta. Instead, Ponyta allows you to deal with plenty of physical attackers thanks to its natural bulk, Flame Body and Will-o-Wisp, and a reliable recovery in Morning Sun, Toxic allows you to win 1v1 against stallish Pokémon with recovery like Porygon and the Impish nature is because the 19 speed tier isn't having much of a competition anymore with Misdreavus gone and it outspeeds stuff it deals with anyways with a 18 Speed while boosting its Defense. Here is the spread I'm suggesting:
Ponyta @ Eviolite
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Def / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Flare Blitz
- Will-O-Wisp
- Morning Sun
On Chinchou use a Berry Juice set which is overall better in the current meta, here is the set:
Chinchou @ Berry Juice
Level: 5
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 76 HP / 212 Def / 152 SpA / 60 Spe
Bold Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
- Hidden Power Ground
Lastly, on Fletchling use an EV spread of 156 HP / 196 Atk / 92 Def / 52 SpD which boosts its Attack while still having some bulk.

Anyways, once again welcome to LC. I hope I helped and good luck!

EDIT: HollowRidley is fast :o

Okay, wow. Sorry for the late reply everyone. I will throw out Darumaka, as per suggestion, what for though I'm not sure. Definitely fixing Tirtouga's IVs (not sure how that happened) and will switch ice beam to rock slide. Making those move switches for Spritzee, but I don't know if I want to change Chinchou except for Eviolite --> Berry Juice and will make the changes to Fletch's and Drilbur's EVs. TBH, the set I've been using has won a decent amount of my battles, and I'll most likely edit in the results of the improved team. Thank you all.

Okay, before you read this, lemmie tell you that I'm a newbie in this too, and don't take my rate SUPER seriously.
First, Spritzee. Spritzee NEEDS wish on it if you want it to live. Maybe in place of return. other than that, spritzee is great.
Darumaka has a good purpose, but it doesn't do it well. A fire type would probably help, though, and I suggest maybe something with basically high atk. or sp. atk, and good speed. Growlithe might do well.
Again, don't take these suggestions too seriously, but consider them. :D

There is no reason to run Growlithe over Ponyta which has a better Attack, and a way better Speed and bulk and can also spread burns on physical attackers without relying much on Will-o-Wisp thanks to Flame Body.
