The lights in the stadium dim, changing to the color of pale moonlight. The curtains open, and the stage is set out like a zen garden. A path of pebbles is laid out, and to either side are two shallow trenches with water and lotus flowers. Slowly from the sky, pink petals fall onto the water, gentle as snow.
A Floette floats along the path, carrying her flower sorrowfully and humming a haunting tune.
"Long ago, in a distant land, a fierce war raged between rival clans. Many innocents suffered in the pointless conflict, among them, a sad Floette. Her Pokemon trainer cared for her deeply, and they lived in peace for many years. However, when a marauding army came, their peaceful life ended."
A pale pink light fills the area, coalescing around Floette's flower.
"Now, the Floette sets out on a quest for vengeance against those who wronged her."
