Normal-Monotype
Hi everyone, I made a normal type team(so if you want to recommend me to change a pokemon to another, make sure it's normal type please, if not it will also be taken in consideration). I like this team, and for me it works pretty well, but I fell like it can get better, so that's why I want a little help.

dunsparce.gif

Doomsparce (Dunsparce) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Rock Slide
- Glare
- Coil
- Roost

I choose Dunsparce because I needed a pokemon who can stop things like Talonflame or non-fighting type physical sweeper. It's role is of Physical Wall and Annoyer, also it can support some extreme damage by physicals sweepers, like an Outrage of a Haxorus or the BraveBird of Talonflame, and stop counter pokemon such as Breloom. Basically its mission is to survive a hit, paralyze the enemy and flinch it until the foe die.

linoone.gif

Slave (Linoone) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Extreme Speed
- Protect
- Shadow Claw

I choose Linoone because I needed a pokemon who can out-speed many sweepers in OHKO, such as Mega-Lopunny and deal great damage to Walls in general, such as Chansey and Heatran, and clear the way to the next pokemon to finish it. It's role is of Physical Sweeper. The inicial plan is to use BellyDrum and spam ExtremeSpeed or ShadowClaw if it's necessary, protect is for pokemon who use FakeOut, so I can get rid of them.

diggersby.gif

Hipster (Diggersby) @ Silk Scarf
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Return
- Quick Attack
- Swords Dance

I choose Diggersby because I needed a form to protect Pidgeot from possible electic moves, also a potent physical sweeper who can OHKO walls in general, such as Mega-Venusaur (after SwordDance). It's role is of Physical Sweeper, even though it isn´t so fast but, it can destroy some heavy defenses such as Gliscor, Chansey, Heatran, or Mega-Diance (after SwordDance). Diggersby it's already strong, but sometimes it need a little boost so I select the SwordDancer set.

porygon2.gif

Windows (Porygon2) @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Tri Attack
- Substitute
- Recover
- Toxic

I choose Porygon2 since I needed a pokemon who can support special attacks, however it doesn't do bad with physical moves, resisting much better than dunsparce the same counters mentioned before and also surviving by 2HKO Gengar with focus blast. It's role is of Mix Wall, it's great defences make me fell safe when I switch out this pokemon in the battlefield. Porygon2 has the Defensive set with Substitute to avoid status.

porygon-z.gif

Linux (Porygon-Z) @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tri Attack
- Shadow Ball
- Magic Coat
- Nasty Plot

I choose Porygon-Z because I needed a Special Sweeper to substitute Pidgeot when it faints, and also get over PhysicalWalls such as Ferrothorn. It's role is the one of Special Attacker who can deal great damage and also surprise some predictable moves. It's move set it's plan to counter ghost types, and give a surprise when another pokemon tries to do a status move to it, for example taunt.

pidgeot-mega.gif

Bigger Pidgey (Pidgeot) @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Hurricane
- Hyper Beam
- Quick Attack
- Tailwind

Base of my team on Mega-Pidgeot since I need to counter fight type, and it was the perfect for the task, also it's a good Special Sweeper to start on. It's role is of Special Sweeper and to help to get rid of fighting types effectively. It has QuickAttack to finish the work, and the pokemon it only one hit to faint, Tailwind is when I know I will die so I can help the next member who come in.

Counters:
Gengar: I can't do nothing to it with two of my pokemon (Diggersby and Porygon2)
Mega-Lopunny: it out-speed all pokemon.
Scarf Fighting-types: it's self explenatory, the same problem of Loppunny

I will like to know how to improve it.

This is my first RTM, so I will like to know if I do something wrong.

Hey, I'm going to list out a few obvious changes you might want to try out.

Dunsparce is a very underwhelming and usually useless Pokemon. First off, Talonflame is banned in Monotype anyway and you have a great physical wall in Porygon2 already. Chansey, on the other hand, can beat pretty much any special attacker that threatens your team, including Mega Charizard Y, Landorus I, etc.
  • 660.png
I'd suggest Silk Scarf -> Choice Band and Swords Dance -> Fire Punch. Silk Scarf is also very underwhelming and Diggersby fails to make use of its amazing attack with it. Choice Band makes it a premier wallbreaker that can pressure almost any team.

Diggersby outclasses Linoone as a physical wallbreaker. Linoone is paper thin and barely ever manages to get a Belly Drum off. Staraptor, on the other hand, makes use of its Fighting-type neutrality by its decent support movepool and Intimidate. It forms a great defensive core with Porygon2 and Chansey, being able to sponge most physical attacks.

Ditto stops pretty much every single set up sweeper in its tracks. Porygon-Z has no role on a team with Mega Pidgeot as it outclasses it as a special wallbreaker. You say it manages to get past Ferrothorn but Mega Pidgeot does it better w/ access to Heat Wave.
  • 233.png
Tri Attack and Substitute are subpar options compared to its BoltBeam coverage or HP Fire / Foul Play to beat Scizor / Bisharp which are threats to your team. If you're adding Chansey, you don't have any need for specially defensive EVs either as physically defensive EVs let it beat the aforementioned threats easier.
  • 018-mega.png
Quick Attack, Tailwind, and Hyper Beam are mediocre options as it has access to a great movepool. Heat Wave beats steel-types that trouble your team, u-turn helps a lot with momentum and roost keeps it healthy throughout the match because of its decent bulk.
Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss

Diggersby @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Return
- Fire Punch
- Quick Attack

Staraptor @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Roost
- Defog

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Transform

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Ice Beam
- Foul Play
- Recover

Pidgeot-Mega @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Roost
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- U-turn
Hope you like the changes and good luck with your team.

Hey, interesting Normal team! I have some suggestions that will help you out.

  • dunsparce.png
    -->
    chansey.png
; Dunsparce is really not that great of an option for your team. Its stats aren't that impressive and it can beaten quite easily. Chansey however is an amazing Pokemon that Normal-type teams get access to because of its unmatched special bulk and access to Stealth Rock and support moves such as Heal Bell. This Pokemon gives you a switchin for so many threats that you otherwise have a really hard time dealing with such as Mega Charizard Y, Landorus-I, Thundurus etc.
  • linoone.png
    -->
    staraptor.png
; This is a pretty gimmicky set that's not going to work out as much as you would like it to because of how poor its defenses are. I recommend replacing it with Staraptor which is a fantastic Pokemon for Normal-type teams. It can run a Choice Scarf set with Reckless that hits incredibly hard and is great against Fighting-types, or run a defensive set with Intimidate that's also able to get rid of hazards. Now since you have Mega Pidgeot, I'd say the defensive set is going to fit much better on your team because all Fighting-types bar Choice Scarf users are outsped by Mega Pidgeot.
  • porygon2.png
Max SpD --> Max Def, Tri Attack --> Ice Beam, Substitute --> Discharge ; By adding Chansey to your team you do not need a specially defensive Porygon2. Instead, you should make it physically defensive to form an incredibly bulky Eviolite core between Porygon2 and Chansey. Porygon2 loves BoltBeam coverage because it deals so well with the meta. It hits stuff like Dragonite, Landorus, and Flying-types in general which are very common. Discharge is also good vs Water-types, another top-tier type, and of course has a 30% chance to paralyse the foe. Other options include Hidden Power Fire or Foul Play instead of Toxic to check Mega Scizor, but you can also check it with defensive Staraptor or Ditto, which I'm going to get to in a bit.
  • porygon-z.png
    -->
    ditto.png
; Ditto is a great Pokemon on Normal-type teams because it's a very good revenge killer and check to setup sweepers. Although Porygon-Z is an amazing special attacker, it's not necessary on your team because you have Mega Pidgeot which is an incredible special wallbreaker with 100% accurate Hurricanes. Basically, Ditto does a lot more for your team and you don't lose much by replacing Porygon-Z with it.
  • 018-mega.png
Hyper Beam --> Heat Wave, Quick Attack --> Roost, Tailwind --> Hidden Power Ground / U-Turn ; Hyper Beam is a pretty bad move competitively because it forces you to recharge for one turn and that's going to allow your opponent to set up or take out your Mega Pidgeot. Heat Wave is a good coverage option for Mega Pidgeot and hits Pokemon such as Mega Scizor and Bisharp. Quick Attack has a low base power and is not going to do a lot of damage because of Mega Pidgeot's poor Attack stat and no investment. Roost allows it to replenish its health after getting weakened by an attack or hazards, which is useful because you want to keep this Pokemon alive as long as possible because of how threatening it can be to your opponent. Most Pokemon on Normal-type teams are pretty slow because of the bulky build it tends to run, so it doesn't really need Tailwind support, especially since the massive bulk of Chansey + Porygon2 can check so many Pokemon as it is. HP Ground is a move to hit Heatran with, but U-Turn can be used for gaining momentum because Mega Pidgeot forces a lot of Pokemon out.
Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Seismic Toss
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled

Staraptor (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Impish Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat / Feather Dance
- Roost
- Defog

Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Ice Beam
- Discharge
- Recover
- Toxic / Foul Play

Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def
- Transform
-

Pidgeot-Mega (M) @ Pidgeotite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 SpD
- Heat Wave
- Hidden Power [Ground] / U-turn
- Hurricane
- Roost

Good luck with the team!

edit: lol sniped

Thanks for your recommendations.
Actually I was thinking on using Staraptor, but for some reason i like linoone :P
I don't if I gonna change Porygon-Z to Ditto, because I consider that is like doing traps by doing the monotype, but the other choices I consider them pretty good!
