when everything you touch turns to gold
(name is very very very in the works)

This article will go through each generation and pick some of the most memorable VGMs from them. I will then try to explain why the music is so memorable whether it is because of the story that goes along with it, how fitting it is to the place that it is connected to, or just the sheer epicness of the music. The music will be chosen from the main series games and spin-offs (although it is likely that only PMD will make the list, /maybe/ something from Ranger). Im thinking of something around 3-5 VGMs per generation, but I'm worried that having too many would be too overwhelming and tl;dr-ish, so the number can be lowered if necessary.

Some of the tracks I've been considering include:
Generation 1- Pallet Town, Lavender Town, Silph Co.
Generation 2- Surfing Theme, Goldenrod City
Generation 3- Abandoned Ship, Sky Tower, Route 110 (though this may just be me, because this is the first Pokemon VGM i got addicted to)
Generation 4- Route 209, Old Chateau, I Don't Want to Say Goodbye
Generation 5 (How am I going to be able to choose ;-; they are all so good) - Route 10, Champion Iris' Theme, Marine Tube

Thanks for reading this once again!

Should this be approved, I also wondered if it would be possible to include links to each song in the article?

This sounds like a good article for arts/recreation

I would consider taking a poll of some kind as well Qwilphish to get some feedback on what the general populous thinks about the "best" music, cuz I know Miror B.'s theme is mine and a few other people's favorite and you don't have it listed atm 9.9

and yeah def include the links to the songs when you write it up

Thanks, Oglemi, I would definitely create a poll/open up to suggestions before writing this completely! Do I still need to get approved or is this article ready to go?

Do you have any kind of music experience to go with this article? It could give the article some extra depth, but I suppose it wouldn't be a necessity.

So yeah I'd approve as well.

Sadly I don't have any formal experience with music outside of just the basics. But, if someone were to volunteer to write out sections like that, I would be completely on-board!
