Nostalgia

As the title suggests this thread is to talk about anything nostalgic from movies to TV shows to music to video games to just straight up nostalgia.(NO RUINING CHILDHOODS AS THIS IS A PLACE TO REMINISCE ABOUT OUR CHILDHOODS) Whether you're from the 1980's,the 1990's or even the 2000's like me this is a place to just talk about the better lives we had back in the day. :)
To get a discussion going what is everyone's favorite nostalgic movie from back in the day? Mine is Toy Story and I still like it to this day.

Toy Story isn't really nostalgic for me, probably because, even though I watched it a lot of times (until I unwound the VHS's tape) Toy Story 3 is pretty recent. I feel like films/programs/games lose their nostalgia if I revisit them too much as an adult.

If that was the case then I would no longer feel nostalgic towards the early episodes of Spongebob. But I still do. Maybe that's the case for you but it's definitely not in my case. Toy Story 1 and 2 make me have a nostalgic feeling every time I watch them and even though Toy Story 3 is still somewhat new(4 years old now. damn time flies) it was designed to give Toy Story fans from the 90's nostalgia similar to how Monsters University does in Monsters Inc's case.

I used to play runescape so hard as a kid... Admittingly, I only stopped recently when I realized it was eating up my life and I wasn't really having much fun in the process.

Everyone criticizes the newer version, and while its nothing stellar, I feel like Jagex is SOOO close to getting it correct. Yet so far.

This song is nostalgia overload.

Super Mario 64 was the first game I ever played, though I was 2 years old and only climbed the trees in the courtyard, but god damnit, I thought that was the best thing ever!
Super Mario World was the first game I actually beat an entire level of shortly after playing Mario 64.
In short, Mario gives me both nostalgia and joy. The happiest I've ever been was during my first playthrough of Super Mario Galaxy when I was 13. I felt so euphoric to be part of something larger than myself. I love Mario so infinitely much.

lol that accurately describes the majority of the internet rambling about the '90s but not this one. This is merely a place to talk about the good times of our childhood. While I don't like modern TV shows I love TV shows from the 90's and the early 2000's I love modern video games, movies, and some modern music. To be honest I did not grow up in the 90's. Hell I wasn't even born in the 90's. I was born in January 2000 and I grew up in the early 2000's and the shows from that era make me nostalgic. Stuff like Spongebob,Jimmy Neutron,The Fairly Odd Parents,Drake and Josh,That's So Raven, and Kim Possible are nostalgic and I still enjoy watching them. Hell I watch Drake and Josh after school every day still
