Not very good at Teambuilding, have a team in the 1600s, would appreciate help

Here is the paste for a team that I have been using, generally enjoy, but I feel is lacking to really break into the 1800s or higher. Any help appreciated

Team core is Gliscor, Empoleon, and Tyrantitar
Gliscor is a spike stacking machine. Tera dragon is probably stupid but, it can be an emergency backstop against the ogerpons

Empoleon switches into the water and ice moves gliscor hates, and special moves in general adds stealth rocks, and can roar on water pon to rack up damage.

Tyranitar provides the knock off to remove boots, massive special tank with AV. Low Kick one shots kinggambit, speed EVS are to outspeed all kinggambits. Ice beam is okay, just gives something to hit gliscor when it comes in to absorb a knock off

This core is pretty weak to grass moves and has no hazard removal.
Enter Talonflame. Kinda like moltres but with Defog. Probably the shakiest part of the team. But outspeed and nearly ohkos the water and fire pons. Does well against non-tbolt Iron Valiant. Can get flame body procs against all kind of stuff in an emergency. Can't defog on Goldhengo but can overheat. Kinda dumb to have defog over spin on hazard stack, but none of the spinners seemed to fit at all.

Core is still quite shaky against fire and water pon (those mons are ridiculous) so add phys def dragonite. Thunder wave is often helpful, but I suspect this moveset could be better. EQ kills iron moths. Sand stream is kinda anti-synergy with multiscale unfortunately

Last mon, thought the 120 power, 100acc rock move that gets a cosmic power to set up with when you tera with sand up would be good. One shots most A-tales right off the rip. Have enjoyed using this mon, though it's likely not optimal.

Open to changing anything, would love help from people better at this than me.

Hi! I have some recommendations. First thing I noticed is that Tyranitar is running ice beam, which is a special attack. However, it's adamant nature lowers the power of special attacks. Id recommend either replacing it with ice punch, tera blast ice, or making its nature not lower it's special attack. That way, it would work a little bit better as a mixed attacker. I'd advise making it not run any special attacks so that you could run adamant on it properly. Or you could replace assault vest, as its ability sand stream will summon sandstorm, boosting its special defense naturally. If you do do that, put dragon dance on it to replace ice beam. Low kick is solid, but it works better if its lighter than the opposing pokemon and Ttar is heavy. So instead of Low Kick, use brick break.

Next, Tera-Dragon Gliscor is nice, but it is still weak to ice if it terastalizes to ice, so id recommend changing it to something that resists ice. Ice is an option, as is steel. You might find luck giving it tera fairy, while fairy doesn't resist ice, it is an amazing defensive typing.

Your empoleon build is quite nice, but you must watch out for garganacl's salt cure. Covert Cloak can block the secondary damaging effect of salt cure, as water and steel both take 1/4 HP damage each turn from salt cure. If you want it to resist physical attacks a bit better, try running chilling water on it so that it can lower the power of opposing physical attacks. also, Empoleon isnt the best option for a phazer, so use flash cannon or something else to attack instead of roar.

I don't have any Ogerpon comments. It seems quite good.

Talonflame is very frail, but your set as a mixed attacker on it will come in handy.

Dragonite build is weird, there are better builds, but your build on it might do well. Try some sample sets on it from smogon.

Not a horrible team, but you must remember natures are very important, and they should usually boost the methods of attack you have on said pokemon.

here are some improvements on Empoleon and ttar.
