...Now that the rain is gone...

I know this is a bit of a change from my usual rain oriented teams but after a while of training i learned that rain was not for me! I hope you all like my team and thanks to all who rate it! :)

Slowking @ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 Def / 252 HP / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature
- Trick Room
- Scald
- Protect
- Psychic

The main purpose of this set is to counter rain and trick room by taking advantage of Slowking's high special defense. Setting trick room and hitting hard is what this set does best. The nice thing about "Pseudo-Room" is that it is a great counter to weather abusers, tailwind, trick room, or anything faster than my team.

Thundurus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Grass Knot
- Protect

The most potent pokemon on my team. With great stabs, this pokemon really rocks. Life orb gives Thundurus what he needs to KO as he can OHKO 252HP Politoed, ludicolo (or any other grass type for that matter), Machamp, Conkeldor, Calm Thundurus, Hitmontop, Scrafty, 252/0 Gastrodon, 252HP Swampert, +1 Volcarona (Do I need to go on?)

Scrafty @ Dark Gem
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Drain Punch
- Fake Out
- Protect

This set is TRs bane. With scrafty's high special defense and resistances to both ghost and psychic he can pose a real threat to trick room This set nabs a 2HKO on cresselia, OHKO jellicent(without the gem), OHKO Reuniclus and not to mention what a nice core it makes with Slowking.

Cloyster @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Razor Shell
- Ice Shard

There are no words to describe how good this set is. The set is self explanitory (outspeed+icicle spear) Rock Blast is nice as it OHKOs Volcarona through a Focus Sash and gets neutral coverage where icicle spear can't. That 90% Acc. feels like 50% though LOL.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- U-turn
- Protect

This set is unimaginably good. The crux of this set is Earthquake dealing heavy damage to the opposing team while thundurus can do clean up with one of its stabs. U-Turn is great allowing me to abuse some more Intimidate with all those physical sweepers on the prowl.

Arcanine @ Fighting Gem
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Protect

This is basically my clean up crew. With Extremespeed and good attack this can be lethal. Also it counters Abomasnow the bane of this teams existence. It can OHKO with either Close Combat or Flare Blitz. Even if its the dreaded Sashed Abomination it can kill with Extremespeed.

hey man, looks like a decent team, but I could suggest a few other options.

First of all, most of your mons don't really work that well in TR. Really, on Slowking and Scrafty do. I would either replace Slowking or add at least one more slow mon. A great choice for a slower Pokemon would be Amoonguss. It synergize a really well with your current team. Also, you could change Cloyster to a Shell Smash set for a devastating Rage Powder + Shell Smash combo. I might replace Landorus with it.

Speaking of Landorus, you only have 1 ground immune. This will heavily limit the Pokemon out with Landorus, as it will have to Protect. This isn't necessarily a problem, but could be considered.

Lastly, you EV spreads a quite bland. I'm sure they could be improved over the sub-optimal 252 / 252! You can use a damage calculator and get the most out of your Pokemon. A good starting point would to set some goals for each of them. For example, Scrafty surviving a Timid Gem Draco Meteor from Latios or Slowking taking less than half from a -1 Crunch from TTar. Keep in mind that when using Hidden Power, the IVs are adjusted. You're wasting EVs on Thundurus currently.
