Blessed with good defenses and a respectable Special Attack stat, Galarian Articuno becomes a lethal setup sweeper with access to Calm Mind and Recover. Psychic Noise allows it to hit foes such as Flamigo, Toxicroak, and the Paldean Tauros formes while also punishing recovery-reliant foes like Vaporeon, Sylveon, and Breloom after it Terastallizes. Hurricane enables Galarian Articuno to clear foes such as Incineroar, Scrafty, and Tsareena. Tera Steel provides an immunity to Poison-type moves from foes such as Galarian Slowbro and Munkidori, increasing Galarian Articuno's longevity. Klefki is an amazing partner for it, as Klefki sets up Spikes and spreads paralysis to slow down faster threats. In return, Galarian Articuno helps maintain Spikes by punishing Defog from foes like Altaria and Cramorant thanks to Competitive. Flygon is an amazing ally that provides an immunity to Electric-type attacks from foes like Kilowattrel and Raikou while also threatening them back. It also threatens Steel-types foes such as Bronzong and Copperajah, which Galarian Articuno is unable to hit effectively.
