NU Semi-Hyper Offense: The Intro
Ok so here is how the team building process went. I decided to make a team centered around Doublade. What kind of Doublade I wanted, I don't know. I stuck a Virizion with it, because they seemed to synergize well. However I have the problem of having a team that's mostly physical based and having two physical sweepers. From here I added my favorite Pokemon, Spiritomb. It fits on every team in the lower tiers. Why? Its only weakness is fairy and it has infiltrator and lots of priority that easily handles huge threats like Jynx and Mismagius. From there I added Typhlosion. I didn't really like that so then I switched it out for Heatmor, the mixed Emboar of NU. Every team needs a cleric, so I decided to add Lanturn to stop Volt-Switching. No matter what team I make I keep getting screwed by statuses, and not having a defogger will make that more of an issue. At this point, I have a three fold ground weakness and only one switch-in. So I added Sigilyph to handle stall. This team... Is not the most balanced once I've built. Not by a long run. I've built more balanced Monotype teams outside of its own tier. This is where you come in.

Ah Doublade, the shining star of the NU tier. Probably the most used mon too. Heck, I bet its big brother Aegislash is the most used in OU. Enough of that, onto the set. Pretty standard, priority sweeper with STAB and coverage. Nothing much to say. Eviolite helps boost its defenses, blah, blah, etc. The problem I have with this team, as I mentioned earlier, is having too many set-up sweepers. This presents itself to be a problem as I find most of the time I'm just trying to successfully set-up and sweep. I want to try and give defensive Doublade a shot though. Let me know what you think down below.
