Welcome to the first edition of the NU Smogtour Tier Tour, a single elimination, best-of-three style tournament featuring SV, SS, and SM NU! This is a type B tournament for the NU circuit. The first game in every series will be played in SV NU, and then the loser picks between SS and SM for the second game.

Tournament-Specific Rules

  • This tournament is single elimination.​
  • All rounds will be a best of three. In each series, SV NU must be the first format played.​
    • The loser of game 1 will pick between SS and SM for game 2.​
  • Matches will be played on Pokemon Showdown. PLAY ON SMOGTOURS SO YOU DON'T GET FUCKED OVER BY SERVER RESTARTS.
  • Make sure to save your replays in case you need to defend your win in a series.
  • General tournament rules apply.
  • Standard Smogon clauses apply.
  • Don't be an idiot.

Going to have to deny this. After consulting with a both a TL and a tour director, there was a lot of back and forth going on where you wanted to RFN avarice and he wasn't around. You brought up a time range which fundamentally didn't work with his availability. avarice did propose a time to you but you never agreed on it or confirmed it. avarice also proposed times that could work with him and you countered with times outside of it. In short, there was just a lot of "tag, you're it" going on rather than focusing on a day and time you both could work with. If anything, avarice has more cause for calling act. on you since he did most of the heavy lifting with giving availability like I said earlier.

That being said, I am leaning either coinflip, or giving avarice activity here.
 
Rom1x38 missed the scheduled time, and given that they said they were on vacation, I suspect they probably have more fun stuff to do lol. So i guess I'm calling act.

After further consideration, I will grant you guys an extension. Those go until Wednesday so that should be plenty of time to pick a day and time to do your games. I'd rather these games get done if I can help it. Mr.Bossaru, I know you may not like this call, but it's for the best.
