Torterra @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Overgrow
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Bullet Seed
- Earthquake
- Tera Blast

Capitalizing on its natural bulk and solid defensive profile, Torterra smashes through the opposition as a devastating setup sweeper in the NU tier. Bullet Seed, in conjunction with Loaded Dice, rips through metagame staples like Flygon, Swampert, and Vaporeon at the minimal cost of not using White Herb. Earthquake is a touch weaker than Headlong Rush but doesn't lower Torterra's defenses even further, making it harder to revenge kill for the likes of Breloom, Paldean Tauros-W, and Toxicroak. Tera Blast Ghost breaks through common Psychic-types that otherwise get the better of Torterra, like Bronzong and Cresselia, while also preventing Fake Out Mienshao and Mach Punch Infernape from taking Torterra down once it is weakened. Offensive teams can utilize Torterra as a mid-game wallbreaker, enabling other setup sweepers like Flygon, Oricorio-E, Iron Thorns, and Paldean Tauros-W to clean late-game; similarly, Torterra can function as a late-game sweeper, using chip damage accumulated by its team to brute force its way to a win. With Sticky Web support from teammates like Araquanid and Galvantula, Torterra can outpace the Choice Scarf users like Inteleon, Mienshao, and Munkidori that threaten to ruin its sweep.

Capitalizing on its natural bulk and solid defensive profile, Torterra smashes through the opposition as a devastating setup sweeper in the NU tier. Shell Smash is incredibly potent, as evidenced by Torterra's meteoric rise from ZU entry hazard setter to NU setup sweeper upon receiving the move. Bullet Seed, in conjunction with Loaded Dice, rips through metagame staples like Flygon, Swampert, (added comma) and Vaporeon at the minimal cost of not using White Herb. gon is top tier n a good mention rn Earthquake is a touch weaker than Headlong Rush but prevents Torterra from lowering its defenses even further, making it more difficult to revenge kill against the likes of Brute Bonnet, FlygonBreloom, Paldean Tauros-W, and fimp gon hits too hard + bbonner is getting worse atm Toxicroak. Tera Blast with Tera Ghost breaks through common Psychic-types that otherwise get the better of Torterra, like Bronzong and Cresselia, while also preventing Mach Punch Breloom Fake Out Mienshao and Mach Punch u can change that to mach or vaccum wave if u want Infernape from taking Torterra down once it is weakened. Offensive teams can utilize Torterra as a mid-game breaker, enabling other offensive setup sweepers like Flygon, Oricorio-E P, Iron Thorns, and Paldean Tauros-W Toxtricity not too common also oricorio-p is psychic, e is electric to clean late-game; similarly, Torterra can function in the late-game sweeper role, using chip damage accumulated by its team to brute force its way to a win. mention araq/galv for webs to possibly help outspeed faster scarfers like flygon/shao/munki/intel

oh, and the part where u talk about revenge killing is slightly confusing. it’s probably best to trim and rephrase that. (also the galv/araq part at the end was meant to say optional) that’s all though

Shell Smash is incredibly potent, as evidenced by Torterra's meteoric rise from ZU entry hazard setter to NU setup sweeper upon receiving the move. (fluff, you're also emphasizing an addition that a Pokemon got in its transition to a newer gen, which is discouraged) Bullet Seed, in conjunction with Loaded Dice, rips through metagame staples like Flygon, Swampert, and Vaporeon at the minimal cost of not using White Herb. Earthquake is a touch weaker than Headlong Rush but prevents Torterra from doesn't lowering its Torterra's (brevity) defenses even further, making it more difficult harder (brevity) to revenge kill against for the likes of Breloom, Paldean Tauros-W, and Toxicroak. FlamPoke I just realized I made a mistake. In the last sentence, you need to change Flygon to Inteleon, as Flygon ignores Sticky Web with Levitate, meaning it still outpaces Torterra. Sorry about this oversight!
