  • Follow all rules listed here.
  • Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for us to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.
  • If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP. Managers, please ping the opposing team's pingable role to inform them.
  • Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.
  • If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.
  • Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, but they also contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.

    For the rest of the tournament, RBY NU is LOCKED and recent tier shifts will not apply.​

BW: Bughouse vs hellom - Bughouse has been on a downright tear with something to prove after a tough start this season. Bolding not just out of belief, but hope, he gets the 5-4 he's looking for.
DPP: BeatsBlack vs Void - BeatsBlack's DPP is really no joke and is personally biased as he's beaten me a bunch in this tier when learning it.
ADV: Oathkeeper vs violet river - I generally like a lot of river's takes for ADV NU, especially in this new world without Glalie, and expect this to lead to a strong showing.
GSC: plznostep vs BigFatMantis - I feel that step's commitment to NU while BFM plays multiple GSC tiers might decide this one. However, BFM's fundamentals cannot be downplayed.
RBY: Toxin Boost vs Amaranth - This should be a show and a half as both players have had historically impressive RBY NU records. The fans win this one.
 
A bit surprised by the picks. There were some interesting mind games being played.

Glasts avoided double ADV and still have violet in is the biggest win of this. At the same time I think Dittos were able to spread their picks in a way that makes more sense considering player>"correct slot"

SV: mipc vs tier - Giving the win to tier. mipc is a great player and BR but it pains my heart to say it tier is just better and more experienced in those big moments.
SS: Danny vs emforbes - Danny SSNU is very good. I enjoy forbes games but still giving it to danny by some margin.
ORAS: devin vs shiloh - Genuinely a coinflip. Rozes is in theory the most experienced and renowned player but devin fliped the odds many times.
ORAS: Feliburn vs aerobee - Close MU. Neither of them really impressed me. Feli has 1 ORAS games this season and Hackmons is 1-1
BW: Bughouse vs hellom - Its redemption time to BH, after the poor start to the season he showcased a mental fortitude to now spiral down and finish strong that was very cool to see. Hellom + Shiloh is super scary but i think BH will make them pay for the BW pick. HIGHLIGHT
DPP: BeatsBlack vs Void - BB is the best NUDPP player this tour. HIGHLIGHT
ADV: Oathkeeper vs violet river - Oath season is super nice to see. I always believed he has the potential to be a good starter for a fair price. The 15k of the selfbuy puts too much pressure on him. And on a winning environment im sure he is being super helpful and he is doing well with a good 4-3. But after all that glaze we fall kind of on the mipc tier mu. VR is just better. I will be rooting for Oath but under normal circumstances VR take this comfortably.
GSC: plznostep vs BigFatMantis - Even if Dittos GSC season is atrocious with a 2-10 plz is a very competent builder and clicker on the tier. BFM is known for his unorthodox approach that transforms this in a coinflip.
RBY: Toxin Boost vs Amaranth - Game of the series tbh. Toxin and all his great performances vs the guy that came to steal his NU crown. HIGHLIGHT


This series will be awesome. I rooting for the Dittos but name by name GG are heavier. In trully cliche fashion anything can happen.

BW: Bughouse vs hellom (probably the HL matchup, close but Bug also has momentum rn)
DPP: BeatsBlack vs Void (should be a good game!)
ADV: Oathkeeper vs violet river (goatkeeper... but this is vs river)
GSC: plznostep vs BigFatMantis (plz is no slouch, but advantage to mantis)
RBY: Toxin Boost vs Amaranth (close here too but toxin's record is crazy still)
