Number of Pokemon and Shortage of Boxes.

As i reach for the goal of 493 pokemon, along with my battling team, Im literally have no space.

Every box so far is jampacked, maybe 1-2 more i can fit.

Does anyone else have this problems and beside buying another game, tips on relieving this problem.

Does Pokemon Box for gamecube work for Diamon/Pearl?

I have no idea. I start deleting some old junk and my box is still crammed with stuff like random Giratinas and some of my own Jirachi to toss into the GTS if I needed to evolve something. Apparently not so useful anymore now that everyone asks for level 9 and under Mews which are impossible to get (Ninty must have gone out of their minds).

I sort my boxes by types, but have yet to complete the PokeDex.

I just keep a few things that people like that are mine, fully evolved forms of Pokes, or things that may have use in the future when I get bored.

Some species are just totally useless, so I just release them after I catch them (i.e. Elekid w/o Cross Chop + Ice Punch, Bibarel, etc.), you know, things that aren't even worth using in NU.
 
Well I dont have literally have every pokemon stored.

I have one of every species, then there is my box of Legendaries, Ditto/Smeargles/babies with moves, 2 boxes of battlers OU/Uber/UU.
and Everything is filled filled filled.

O_o no wonder. I think that only another game is your option, as PBR doesn't take anything, and there isn't a Box Game yet.

Unless you wish to give up your packrat-ish nature and release somestuff.
 
Thats the funny thing, Just yesterday i released like 15 pokemon and i gotten another 20 from a trade to increased my pokedex.

At the rate im going, I would be completey filled around 470ish pokedex entry, this Including putting 2 in the Day care center and 6 in my party.
 
I have two games, so I don't really have this problem. Aside from releasing though, there isn't a remedy.

Start releasing those bad IV'd Pokemon, multiples, and Goldeen+friends is my advice.
 
By my count, there's a bit under 300 fully-evolved Pokemon. That's only 10 of your boxes.

If you use two for your teams, two for Egg Moves/Breeding, one for Unown, and the other three for holding your trade stuff or possibly usable Pokes and what not, you've solved your storage issue.
