ODD FUTURE BEEDRILL KILL 'EM ALL
This team is based upon hazards and Weezing and Umbreon walling. The other four Pokes are there to provide offensive support, with Beedrill and Rotom-H using their STAB U-turn and Volt Switch to keep pressure without taking revenge KOs.
Busta B (Beedrill) (M) @ Beedrillite
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Protect
- Poison Jab
- Knock Off
This is Busta B, my attempted pivot revenge killer. He hasn't been much use so far, because people seem pretty prepared for M-Beedrill. It's a pretty standard build: He keeps pressure with his U-Turn, uses protect to make sure he's makes it to Mega. Poison Jab is his most powerful move, with STAB, it can usually wipe out any Poke weak to poison. Knock Off is there for coverage and utility.
Hot Mike (Rotom-Heat) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Trick
Hot Mike is my Special Attacker. I chose him because I needed both fire and electric for coverage. Since he is fairly frail, I keep using volt switch. It also is great for keeping pressure on bulky offensives. Trick has been very useful in debilitating walls. Hidden Power Grass is useful for coverage, in case of Seismitoad or Swampert. The choice specs make him brutal in attacking, and are fun to switch onto a bulky attacker who has leftovers.
Puff Dirty (Weezing) (F) @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Fire Blast
- Toxic Spikes
Puff Dirty is my Defensive Wall. She was one of the inspirations for this team. Will-o-wisp debilitates attackers and Fire Blast handles a surprising amount of switch-ins. Pain Split keeps Weezing's health up when setting up Toxic Spikes, which when stacked with Stealth rock, are pretty great at keeping switch-ins from happening too often. Black sludge is there for recovery.
Smashsta (Cloyster) (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Shell Smash
- Rock Blast
- Rapid Spin
- Icicle Spear
Smashta is my setup sweeper/rapid spinner. His main use so far is spinning and scaring away dragons and fliers. Shell smash is hard to setup with, because Rock Blast and Icicle Spear have mediocre coverage, and there's generally someone who's resistant to both. If his threats are neutralized, however, the focus sash lets his setup go smoothly and he can sweep pretty well.
Big Sweezy (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP / 16 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Scald
- Roar
Big Sweezy da real MVP. I needed stealth rock and a water type, so Swampert fit my team perfectly. I usually open with him, because Earthquake and Scald will scare away most other openers and leave me room to use Stealth Rock. Roar is a move that I hadn't really used before that turned out incredibly useful. I once also used his Roar and P. Dirty's Toxic Spikes to toxic an entire team. Leftovers are there to increase survivability.
ft. Rihanna (Umbreon) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Wish
- Protect
- Baton Pass
- Foul Play
Featuring Rihanna is my Special Wall and Cleric. She is the other half of Weezing and the inspiration for this team. Wish is great, because my team lacks other recovery. Protect lets her guarantee a wish onto herself. Foul Play is actually rather useful in keeping the opponent on their toes. Baton Pass is for slow-passing wishes to heavily damaged teammates. The leftovers are for passive recovery.
I seem to have trouble mainly with teams that have a strong defogger or spinner, as I'm fairly reliant on stealth rock. I'm also rethinking Cloyster's Focus Sash, but it has come in handy. It's pretty fun Spinning with Cloyster, as they don't expect it at all, but the loss of the priority move has been troublesome for his sweeps and survivability.
