[SET COMMENTS]
Tornadus-T has many useful traits with its Nasty Plot set that it likes to use to put itself in advantageous position like using its speed and presence to setup Nasty Plot in faces like Keldeo, Ogerpon, and Conkeldurr by forcing them out. In addition, its ability to bluff a more defensive set allows it to take advantage of passive Pokemon that would take switch into it such as Slowking or Gastrodon and be able to force progress into break through Utility Excadrill, Fezandipiti, and Tinkaton. Bleakwind Storm is chosen as a reliable STAB move of choice as it gives it the consistency and power to break through Donphan, Gastrodon, and Assault Vest Conkeldurr after a Nasty Plot Boost. Alternatively, Hurricane would give more damage against bulky Pokemon like Hydrapple, and Manapahy when you have a Nasty Plot boost. Focus Blast would hit Flying resists such as Tyranitar, Skarmory, and Tera Steel Pokemon and is also your best way of hitting Bellibolt, Sandy Shocks, and Rotom-Wash. The last moveslot can go to Taunt to prevent status attempts from Slowking, Toxapex, and Clodsire while denying their recovery attempts while preventing phazing from Skarmory. Heat Wave would give it additional coverage against Tinkaton, and Revavroom while also giving you a great way to hit Thundurus-Therian hard giving you a reliable way to 2HKO at +2. U-Turn allows it to come in and out of the game by providing utility until its ready to come in and setup. It can also be useful when you are are having difficulty getting a Nasty Plot opportunity and it can be used to continue making progress against teams with the use of hazards and momentum. Heavy-Duty Boots is the item of choice and it allows Tornadus-T to stay healthy with the use of Regenerator. Tera Steel allows it to turn the tide on Pokemon like Ogerpon-C, Greninja, and Latios. Tera Electric can also be used to turn the tides against electric types like Rotom-W, Thundurus-T, and avoid Thunder Wave from Slowking, or Cobalion.
Tornadus-T fits best on more balance and offensive teams where it can be used to setup and put holes into the opposing team. It appreciates Pokemon who can safely pivot it in like Lokix and Fezandipiti as this would allow Tornadus-T to get setup opportunities to boost against Cobalion or Keldeo in addition to being able to take advantage of Skarmory, Toxapex, and Slowking. As mentioned, Fezandipiti is appreciated to have on the team for its ability to take on foes not limited to Hydreigon, Lokix, and Hydrapple in place of Tornadus-T due to it taking on a more offensive role instead. Lokix is another partner that helps wear down opponents by pivoting and removing the items of Pokemon who may give trouble to Tornadus-T like Fezandipiti, and Rotom-W while helping Lokix against Skarmory, and Physically Defensive Heatran by taking advantage of their inability to really threaten it. Electric-types like Rotom-W, and Thundurus-T are problematic for it so Nasty Plot Hydrapple is an ideal partner for it as it appreciates its ability to damage Tinkaton, Fezandipiti, and Skeledirge to make it much easier for Tornadus-T to wallbreak, along with checking the aforementioned Pokemon. Slowking is able to provide paralysis and defensive support by pivoting it in and being able to form a regenerator core with it, with paralysis it is able to slow down Greninja, opposing Tornadus-T, and Scarf Latios. Tornadus-T can take advantage of the opportunities to setup in addition to full paralysis to make Skeledirge, opposing Slowking, and Toxapex to make them unable to deal with it reliably. Pairing Nasty Plot Tornadus-T with Tyranitar and Excadrill allows it to pressure Skarmory, while also being able to wear down Rotom-W into range of Sand Rush Excadirll which will be helpful for a late game sweep.
