I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but...
I'm working on making an Offensive Cleric Dragonite for Gen 5.
Here's what I'm looking at so far:
Bulky DD Cleric Dragonite
move 1: Heal Bell
move 2: Roost
move 3: Dragon Dance
move 4: Dragon Claw
item: Leftovers
ability: Inner Focus (only because MultiScale isn't legal with Heal Bell)
nature: Careful (for now)
evs: 248 HP, 160 Speed, 100 SpDef
ivs: all 31
So, my stats I'm working with at the moment are:
HP: 385
A: 304
D: 226
SA: 212
SD: 287
Sp: 236
Now, I know this set doesn't have the best type coverage with all the Steel Types running around these days. That doesn't matter, as this Draco's main purpose is not to sweep. Dragon Dance is merely there if it I DO happen to get a chance to start setting up.
Really, I want this Dragonite to be as bulky as possible and also be able to outspeed common threats after 1 DD. So, what recommendations do you have for me? How much Speed should I use? Right now, it sits at 354 after a DD, which is enough to outspeed Thundurus. I'm thinking about going with less speed though since me team already has an answer to Thundurus. Also, what nature do you think is the most beneficial in order to check a good amount of the common threats this gen? Should I aim for more physical bulk or more special bulk? Should I drop my speed to 213 to outspeed max-speed Gliscor after a DD? I'm not sure on this.
