Offensive Offensive! 2nd RMT

I'm back with another team, and it radiates offense. But I would love for some advice cuz I feel like there's a lack of "teamwork" lol. Those of you who took the time to read this, and help, thanks :D Now on with the team.

Threatening right? Probably not... and that's why I need your help. Especially after I reveal the details of this team. Without anymore stupid rambling from me:

612.gif

Haxorus @ Leftovers
~Mold Breaker
~Adamant
~36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
-Substitute
-Dragon Dance
-Dual Chop
-Earthquake

That's right. Sub DD Hax. I'm probably not the only one using this lol. Basically, Hax is supposed to tear holes in the team. Hopefully it can go past that and sweep. Substitute blocks all kinds of status and whatnot, especially Leech from Ferro and others. DD... pretty obvious. Sub set-up, blah blah blah. Dual Chop over outrage because of the shashers out there -_- If i get locked into outrage and the opponent goes down to sash my sub will break, somthing I don't want. Also, Dual Chop breaks the opponents subs, as long as it doesn't miss... Earthquake for that Mold Breaker abuse lol. Skarm walls this set completely unless i get a good amount of DD's. But I have something else to deal with Skarm.

196.gif

Espeon @ Light Clay
~Magic Bounce
~Timid
~252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Morning Sun
-Psychic

And that anti-Skarm is here! Espeon oh Espeon. Bounces back all hazards and phasers. And it can set up the screens while she's just laughing at the useless attempts of Skarm, Ferro, etc. Every offensive team needs some support, and Espeoon fits for this one. Screens so that the other pokes don't take as much damage, especially Volcarona, Mamo, Cloyster, and Garchomp. Morning Sun lets Espeon live much longer, especially since she is desperately needed for the support. Psychic is a main STAB, i guess it's not that uselful anyway.

637.gif

Volcarona @ Chesto Berry
~Flame Body
~Modest
~160 HP / 252 SpA / 96 Spe
-Quiver Dance
-Bug Buzz
-Fiery Dance
-Rest

Omfg my favorite Pokemon. Don't judge me :P ChestRest, classic.... and I just wanted to try it out. And it works REALLY WELL! Especially sinc ei manage to get Volc behind screens and set up. After getting a good amount of dances, Volcarona can sweep anything, bar Heatran and Extremespeed Dragonite. Cloyster can deal with them, more so the latter. Haxorus can deal with Heatran a little more. Other than that, Volcarona creates holes alongside with Hax. Both are really formidable, as long as the counters are taken care of. Also, Volc can take on Ice shards and Bullet Punches aimed at Garchomp and Haxorus, and Mamoswine, respectively.

91.gif

Cloyster @ King's Rock
~Skill Link
~Jolly
~4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
-Shell Smash
-Icicle Spear
-Rock Blast
-Razor Shell

Yes yes i know. King's Rock. it has 41% flinch chance with Icicle Spear and Rock Blast ok? To be totally honest... I think Cloyster is what's wrong with my team. It just doesn't do anything. So. HELP ME PLEASE THANKS SO MUCH I NEED TO CHANGE THIS SLOT

445f.gif

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
~Rough Skin
~Jolly
~4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang
-Stone Edge

I needed a good revenge killer. So Viola I decided to use the no longer banned Garchomp. It works really well, as long as an opponent Mamoswine or Weavlie isn't present. Outrage to finish off a game. Earthquake to hit anything with a strong STAB. Fire Fang for Forretress and Ferro, and a few other Steel types.
Stone Miss- oh I mean Edge- to hit any Levitaters and Flying types. Nothing really to explain about Scarfchomp.

473.gif

Mamoswine @ Life Orb
~Thick Fat
~Adamant
~4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
-Ice Shard
-Icicle Crash
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge

The final man. The big threat (well. to me. whenever I come across it I have problems). Mamo is just here for the priority, and maybe wall breaking. I guess wanting to use Mamo made me slap him on this team. And it wasn;t a bad random decision. Icicle Crash hits Lando and Gliscor, as long as I predict correctly. Earthquake is the powerful STAB. And Stone Edge.... misses. But if it hits it does hefty damage. Pretty simple for Mamo.

THREATS
Ferrothorn. If it has Gyro Ball. But i guess not all teams are perfect.
That's pretty much it. Gyro Ferro was the only noticeable poke I have a problem with.

And that's my offensive team. Advice please. All will be taken and tried. Thanks guys. :)
Sorry for any weird wordings or formatting. If any.

Hello,

At first, I'd use Starmie in place of Cloyster, it can spin the Stealth Rock (you can't always bounce them) and with Hail, it's useful against the weather teams. Then, you haven't a Stealth Rock user so, I'd use Mamoswine with Stealth Rock and with a different set. Finally, I don't like a lot your Haxorus set and Dragon Dance Haxorus in general is a bad pokèmon in the current metagame in my opinion, I'd use Dragon Dance Dragonite in place of it, with Multiscale it can setup easily and it's a better Dragon Dance user.

Sets:

image.gif

Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Scald
- Hail
- Psyshock
- Rapid Spin

Mamoswine_BW.gif

Mamoswine (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Endeavor
- Ice Shard

149.gif

Dragonite (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Fire Punch
- Outrage
- ExtremeSpeed

Good luck, hope I helped :)

Hi there! That's a nice team with some great offensive synergy you're trying to use here. The hyper offensive playstyle is so common these days, that everyone seems to run it in one forme or another. It seems like you want to setup screens with Espeon, then proceed to sweep with Haxorus/Volcarona and let Garchomp finish the job. Okay, before I start rating, I would just like to tell you that I shall be recemmending a few tweaks you can make in the EV and Moveset department. Please take these changes into consideration and try them out before implementing them into this thread. With all that aside, allow me to start rating this team. Okay, first off, I would use Outrage over Dual Chop on your current Haxorus. Outrage has a godlike base power and can KO literally all of OU after 1 or 2 Dragon Dances. To avoid Outrages nasty confusion side effect, I would use a Lum Berry over your current item choice of Leftovers. Moving on, instead of Espeon, I would like to recommend a Dual Screens Latios over Espeon. Latios has some amazing bulk, and great speed, which allows it to set up screens faster than any other Dual Screener I believe. Well, that's all I have to say for now. I hope my advice helped you just a bit. Have fun and good luck with your team!

Latios @ Light Clay Lv. 100 -- Levitate

Nature: Timid - 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe

- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Memento
- Dragon Pulse

~Dr Ciel~ (The doctor is OUT)

Hey there, nice offensive team!

I hate Cloyster with a passion, and will never understand why its usage is so high. Over Cloyster I would suggest using either Scizor or Lucario. Both are amazing sweepers that rely on priority to get most of their KOs. Both would benefit greatly from the use of Screens. Here are the sets:

Scizor @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Roost / Bug Bite

Roost is for surviving longer, Bug Bite is a great stab option. Max speed to outspeed stuff like Special Defense Heatran but you can opt for a more bulky EV spread if you like. Life Orb and max Attack because this is an offense team!

Lucario @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed
- Bullet Punch / Ice Punch / Crunch

Lucario has a couple of options in the last slot, depending on what gives you the most trouble. Bullet Punch hits Terrakion and Gengar who otherwise beat you, Ice Punch beats bulky Landorus-T, Dragonite and Gliscor and Crunch dents bulky Psychics/Ghosts like Reuniclus and Jellicent. I usually go with Adamant for maximum power but you can use Jolly if you find max Speed base 80s like Jolly Mamoswine a problem.

You should also use Alexander's suggestion of Endeavor/Sr Mamoswine, it'll work great.

Well that's all I can suggest, hope I helped. Best of luck!

Hi, there's not much to say since previous raters covered almost everything. I support the Mamoswine set Alexander proposed, Stealth Rock is a huge asset for a HO team and Sash Mamoswine is a very cool way to provide that kind of support while mantaining an offensive presence. I also support the removal of Cloyster for a SD Scizor, since Scizor is marginally bulkier than Lucario, and that will be useful in conjunction with Screens to tank Dragon attacks, since you don't have a way to absorb them otherwise. ala's set looks fine, I'd run Bug Bite over Roost since losing that STAB kinda worries me, especially when Superpower lowers your Attack so it's not viable to spam it on what resists Bullet Punch (most notably, Water types). On Haxorus, while your set may have some merits, I don't like it too much since Lum Berry is usually a better way to handle status, and wasting turns while not boosting your attack is something I'd rather not do. To really tear holes into teams, you can try a Double Dance Haxorus, a set I used with quite good success in the past. Since it has so great coverage in only Outrage and EQ, it can afford to run both SD and DD to cover different situations (DD against offensive teams, SD against more slow, stallish ones), and it goes without mention that if it achieves both it's hugely scary (it 2HKOs Skarmory...). If you want a safer version, just go for a standard DD Haxorus, that gains Superpower as very valuable coverage move, that smashes Ferrothorn and Balloon Heatran. Skarmory is still untouchable, but as you said, there are other ways to get rid of it.

The only thing I won't do is substituting Espeon, as that would open a quite annoying weakness to hazards. Magic Bounce or Spin support are very valuable when running Volcarona and, although not mandatory, I won't let them go so easily.

Haxorus @ Lum Berry | Mold Breaker
Adamant | 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 Spe
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Swords Dance / Superpower

Hope I helped. Good luck.
