Mamoswine@focus sash
252atk 252spe 6def
Adamant
-stealth rock
-ice shard
-earthquake
-endeavor
Item: Using focus sash in order for endeavor/iceshard to work to its fullest potential
EVs: The EVs are set in order for Mamo to hit as hard as possible so that he can weaken as many of my opponents team before he drops dead.
Nature: Adamant again in order to buff the massive attack
Mamoswine sets up stealth rock and tries to screw up opponent leads at the same time which is why he is on my team
Breloom@toxic orb
48hp 252atk 208spe
adamant
-spore
-substitute
-seed bomb
-focus punch
Item: to make breloom immune to status effects and to give him a passive regeneration to counter substitute hp loss
Evs: extra hp for substitute high attack so he hits hard and speed to outrun blissey and skarmory
Nature: adamant to buff attack
Breloom is here to eat status effects for my team while dishing out damage and forcing switches at the same time. I try and bring breloom in on bulky waters or pretty much anything that uses moves breloom can resist and i can get either a sub or spore off and begin carving away with focus punch and seed bomb
Jolteon@leftovers
252SpAtt 252Spe 6hp
timid
-substitute
-baton pass
-hp ice
-thunderbolt
Item: leftovers in order to recover hp from substituting
Evs: here in order to get OHKOS on SR weakened pokemon and the speed evs ensure it outruns gyarados on the first DD and ohkos with t-bolt
nature: timid to ensure outrunning gyarados
Ok jolteon is hear to pass substitutes to metagross and jolteon can come in on any electric attack with his volt absorb ability as well as switching in and possibly forcing a gyarados switch which would allow me to pass a substitute to metagross
Metagross@life orb
252att 112hp 12def 132spe
adamant
-agility
-meteor mash
-earthquake
-explosion
Item: life orb for shear power
EVS: enough speed to outrun base 100s after an agility and enough attack to wreak havoc while be mildly defensive
Nature: Adamant for power
Metagross is my late game sweeper and i am using the rest of my team in order to bring him in. Spore from breloom baton pass from jolteon and being able to counter most of gengars weaknesses lets me bring him in on them.
Gengar@life orb
252Spatt 252Spe 6def
timid
-shadowball
-hp fire
-thunderbolt
-focus blast
Item: life orb for power
EVS: able to outspeed base 100s and hit harde with shadowball and supereffective moves
nature:out speeds neutral 115s
Gengar is my special sweeper and might also recieve a subpass from jolteon if the team im going against is physically defensive. Gengar is my back up late game sweeper as well as my first offensive blow to my opponents team if i can get him out early
Salamence@life orb
84att 208Spatt 216Spe
mild
-draco meteor
-fire blast
-earthquake
-outrage
Item: life orb for power
EVS: enough evs to be able to 3hko cresselia Dmeteor on the switch then 2succesfull outrages before dropping to icebeam
Nature: in order to kill cresselia
Salamence is my wall breaker and i'll bring him in pretty much to revenge kill anything that kills my mamoswine if he can and then leave him to dent my opponents team and my metgross' and gengar's job easier
THE PLAN:
Ok so my goal was to center the team around a metagross sweep.
Mamoswine- Standard lead mamo i have him hear simply because i like him and i feel that he works well with the endeavor set
breloom- i have him hear to incapacitate another pokemon and to eat t-waves or will-o-wisps that would be thrown at gross
Jolteon- running the subpass set as an additional way to keep status off of metagross and allowing him to get off a free agility if i can baton pass at the right time.
Gengar/Salamence - pretty much used as wall breakers and bludgeon carriers.. i use these guys to put a dent in my opponents team so metagross can easily sweep the weekend opponents.
Metagross- as stated before is pretty much the center of the team
MY PROBLEMS:
I feel like i have a huge infernape and heatran weakness unless i play into them carefully IMO Salamence is the weakest member of my team because he seems to be the only one that doesn't do his job well enough.. i am considering replacing him with a Latias/Infernape/Lucario/Tyranitar but not really sure what i need right now and am looking for advice on the weak links of my team.
Please keep in mind that metagross is my late game sweeper
